dblee50 Posted August 27, 2010 Share Posted August 27, 2010 I am getting a socket open failed java.net.connectexception error often and don't know what is causing it. I look in my router settings and it shows the isy there. I haven't changed any settings so don't know what is causing it. I turned off windows firewall and it still happens. Also get a XML parse error behind it. any help appreciated. I have windows 7 64b. Link to comment

The number 1 issue is Software Firewall (especially Kaspersky, McAfee, and NOD32). If - above and beyond Windows Firewall - you do not have any other firewall software, please do call our tech support team to schedule a tech support call. We'll figure out what's causing the issues.
