@bmercier I tried the z-wave backup function, but it doesn't seem to ever finish. I presume it should complete in a matter of seconds - mine just spins and spins,

I am using the UD z-wave dongle.

However clicking anywhere on the display clears the Backup popup.

It is reproducible, I have not tried a reboot at this point.

It can take minutes.

Also make sure to run version >= 1.4.8

Thanks Eisy is up to date, 1.48.

Tried it again, doesn't seem to finish and restore fails as well.

Maybe I should reboot?

Likely the process is finishing, but for some reason the UI is not being updated.

First reboot eisy, wait at least 5 minutes, so we start from a cleans state.

Run the backup, if it does not finish in 30 secondds click out of the dialog.  

Download the Zwave Log

Download the Event Viewer Log, from the Event Viewer Tab (this is the UI's log, must be done before any refresh).

Attache logs to a ticket for investigation

@Javi I checked the Z-wave log, it successfully finishes, but as you said it's just the UI isn't being updated.

Someone else submitted one. Are you using the staging build? This had firmware (IoX) component currently in staging.

Just the Beta 1.48, the release note about changes in the z-wave backup prompted me to try it out.

Ok, I think it was pushed to beta before the required firmware update. Backup completes, the UI dialog will not update until firmware is updated.

Should I update using staging or wait for the Beta (still 1.48 for me).

whatever you like, currently the only thing broken is the dismiss.
