Could Not Connect to FLIRC After Migrate PG3-eisy

Featured Replies

I'm having the same issue as mmoore99 "elSYIR not working after upgrade to OS14.3/IoX 6." That topic has been closed, so I cannot comment there.

After migrating the eISYIR plugin to eisy and updating the latest production versions, the error code shown in the attached screenshot (Cannot connect Flirc device) appears. The plugin and Flirc device work properly in PG3, and fail after migration to eisy. When I reverse the migration, moving eISYIR back into PG3, it works.

During the last 3 weeks, I've re-migrated this plugin multiple times, including after the most recent update to eisy software, but the error always appears after migration to eisy.

I've tried the following steps multiple times without any resolution to the problem::

I disconnected/reconnected Flirc USB. I rebooted eisy. I reinstalled the eISYIR plugin. I restarted the eISYIR plugin.

Regarding the error message "Could not connect Flirc device. Make sure device is plugged in and permissions are set," I don't know what permissions this refers to, but since it worked before I would assume permissions should be correct.

The log is attached.

You can generate full log package, that includes pg3 logs as well and PM to me and I will take a look. Chances are it just didn't install properly during transfer and you will likely need to open UDI support ticket.
