rlebel
In hopes that it will help clean up my ongoing communication problems (and eliminate unsightly APs plugged into the wall) I'm thinking of replacing a few 2476Ds with 2477Ds. I know that usually the "replace device" function in the isy requires identical device types. Is there any way for me to do my proposed replacements without having to do a full remove/add operation for each switch in every scene? P.S. I saw the one post about problems with the 2477D flashing halogen lights. Any other negative or positive reviews of the 2477D would be appreciated. Link to comment
Michel Kohanim
Hello rlebel, Long time no see! I cannot comment on the flickers but I can tell you that ISY does support replacing a 2476D with a 2477D. With kind regards, Michel Link to comment
thruster999
Where in the ISY interface can you replace devices? Sorry. Searched the wiki and I could not find it. Link to comment
Michel Kohanim
Hello thruster999, 1. Add to ISY the new device which is going to replace the old device 2. Right mouse click on the old device and then from the Replace with ... menu item choose the device you added in #1 With kind regards, Michel Link to comment
