I/O Linc and Grisk Absence of Water Sensor

If I read the manuals correctly. It normally is used to detect when a liquid level fall below its mounting point.

In your case it would be reversed. So in theory the Normally Closed contacts would be open until the level was again high enough to cover the sensor probes.

You could wire the common and normally closed contacts to the I/OLinc's sensor input and have it send a change of state when the detector detects water.

You could also use a second float switch mounted higher than the one on the pump. Wired to an I/OLinc.

There maybe others here that have used other water detectors and may have added information for you.

OK So I connect both the common and normally closed wires to the SNS screw? So I just tape off and dont use the Normally open wire then?

Thanks for the help
