jkraus Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 OK, here is one for all? Dropped my remotelinc on sidewalk and control stopped working. LEDs and beeps seemed normal but still would not control lights. Removed links from ISY and did a factory reset, but could not linc it. So figured it was dead. I have a brand new spare that I then tried to linc and it failes. Get error messgaes "failed writing higwater mark" and "node not added" wierd coincidence. any ideas?
Michel Kohanim Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Hello jkraus, Quite weird! The only thing I can recommend is making sure that you're close to an Access Point, open the Event Viewer on level 3, and then see the traffic. If all you see are INST-ACKs, and if your RL is in Programming mode, and if you are close to an Access Point, then I would think that you have a defective RL. With kind regards, Michel
jkraus Posted November 16, 2010 Author Posted November 16, 2010 seems the first RL indeed is dead as I finally got the second RL to link by selecting "auto discovery" and all seems fine. only other comment is the 1st RL was quite sensiteive to a drop as X10 you can basically throw at the wall and still works
