BoydG Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 I just got a new ISY99/i and I can't change the time. It's running the latest version, i tired factory reset. When i manually adjust time time, it looks like it's doing it but when i look back it reset it to some random date and time. Suggestions?
LeeG Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Is the NTP server option enabled. Perhaps it is getting the time from NTP and the location is not yet been set to reflect your actual location.
BoydG Posted December 1, 2010 Author Posted December 1, 2010 No it's disabled. When i put it todays date it goes to 7/6/2005
Brian H Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Does the samething happen if you use the synchronize to computer time?
Michel Kohanim Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 Hello BoydG, I do apologize for the inconvenience. Can you give me a sampling of the random times you get? If you have cleared your Java cache, and if you are still having the same issue, would you be kind enough to contact our tech support team? You might have a defective hardware and we'll be able to ascertain if this is indeed the case. Again, sincere apologies for the inconvenience. With kind regards, Michel
BoydG Posted December 1, 2010 Author Posted December 1, 2010 Yes it does it when i press the set from PC as well i've tried 3 other PC's and clearing out the java cache It appears to change dates on it's own as well. Right now it says 9/3/1946 Synchronize with computer produces 6/26/2005 When i'm in the date picker, as i pick the date, i see in the status bar the correct date and time, but when i click OK it reverts back to something random. I clicked on a tab on top and now it's 2/22/2000
