Joe Dunn Posted January 13, 2011 Posted January 13, 2011 I have been using my ISY-99i for some time. Some how the My Lighting icon lost the URL. Following the instructions in the User Guide I went to http://www.universal-devices.com/99i. That brought up the Administrative Console. This was overlaid with a screen that said "The application's digital signature has an error. Do you want to run the application?" I selected Yes and got an Administrative Console. When I clicked HELP>ABOUT it responded with a copyright screen. I did not receive a sign-on screen My ISY-99i is alive and working. Where can I go from here? Thanks!
Michel Kohanim Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Hello Joe, Would you please take a look at the LEDs on the front of the unit and make sure that non are lit except the Power LED? With kind regards, Michel
Joe Dunn Posted January 14, 2011 Author Posted January 14, 2011 Michel, Power is on. Mem and Error are blinking. Joe
Michel Kohanim Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Hi Joe, Thank you. This means that ISY is no longer connected to your router/network or the cable from Network to the router is not plugged in correctly. Would you please make sure that the connection from the router to your ISY is secure? With kind regards, Michel
Joe Dunn Posted January 17, 2011 Author Posted January 17, 2011 Michel, The E net cable seems to be OK. The two lights by the ISY end are blinking. The light at the modem connection is on. I switched cables and it looks the same. I tried to access it at 192.168.1.78 and received no response. My ISY continues to perform it's programs. It controls lighting and sprinklers. I was delayed working on this because my AT&T U-verse system crashed. It took out my TV and internet. I just got it fixed this morning. Thanks, Joe
Michel Kohanim Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Hello Joe, ISY has a hard time communicating with your router. If the cables are OK, then the problem could be any of the following: 1. ISY cannot get a DHCP address from the router 2. There are other devices with the same IP address on the network Does rebooting ISY fixes the problem? If so, what version of firmware is ISY running? With kind regards, Michel
Joe Dunn Posted January 18, 2011 Author Posted January 18, 2011 Michel, Progress! I couldn't find rebooting instructions in the User Guide. So, I unplugged the cable to the PLM, reconnected it and the ISY rebooted without the error indication. My former My Lighting icon didn't work. So. I went to http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/. That brought up my administrative console. I have not been able to figure out how to update the My Lighting icons with the new address. I think my new address is 192.168.1.78/admin. I can't get it to work. Tell me how to solve this. Also, every time I go to Universal-devices.com/99i/ I get a message "The application's digital signature has an error. Do you want to run this application?" I think my version is 2.7.15. Thanks, Joe
Michel Kohanim Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Hi Joe, Please upgrade to 2.8.10 ... I think there may have been an IP conflict: http://forum.universal-devices.com/viewtopic.php?t=5613 This should fix the certificate error. As far as not having My Lighting on your computer, I think the problem may be related to your firewall software. Please make sure ISY is in the trusted zone/white list. You can get your ISY's IP address by going to Help | About. With kind regards, Michel
