Cartwrig Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 I have a client where I installed 4 floor pressure ensors, which are then tied to IOLincs. These allow stair case sconces to turn on as the home owner steps on the floor at the top or bottom of the stairs. Likewise, the same is setup for the kitchen toe-kick lights, and the mud hall entrance lights. So, I have a question. Q: How well does the RESTORE Device do if there is other Insteon Traffic happening here and there throughout the house? How well does programming do, while there is other traffic occurring throughout the house? Because, there is often someone else in the house, while I'm reprogramming things. I do find myself logging remotely into their house to do reprogramming after the time that I know the homeowners go to bed. To be sure that no one is moving around, and triggering Insteon packets.
Michel Kohanim Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Hello cartwrig, Although not advised, but it should not matter since we track each message sent out and wait for the correct response from the same device. If anything fails, you will see the 0101 green icons as an indication that there are pending writes and then you can take corrective measures. With kind regards, Michel
