Joe Dunn Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 I have been using an ISY-99i for some time. Now I can't access it by e net. The ISY is working fine. My modem is working fine. I have two PCs and the ISY connected to it. The e net connection at the rear of the ISY shows one solid green light and one blinking green light. At the other end a green light goes on where the cable is connected to the modem. MEM and ERR are blinking. I ran www.universal-devices.com/991. It didn't find my ISY. I rebooted my modem and the problem remains. Where should I go from here? Thanks, Joe
Michel Kohanim Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Hi Joe, If MEM/ERR are blinking simultaneously it means that ISY cannot communicate with your modem. You might want to check the cable from ISY to your router/modem ( I think this was the problem last time ). Also, please go to your router's DHCP client table and make sure ISY99-HOME-AUTO is listed. With kind regards, Michel
Joe Dunn Posted March 22, 2011 Author Posted March 22, 2011 I have checked my cables. And replaced the e net cable. The ISY cable connector shows a steady green light and a linking green light. The router connection shows a green light. So, I think the connections are OK. The ISY is not on the router's DHCP client table. I have spent more than two hours with AT&T trying to solve this. So far, none of them has any idea how to add to the client list. I'm beginning to think my problem is in the router. Does the ISY continue o try to connect to the router? Or, do I have to do something to make that happen? Is there any way to increase the font size or these messages? Thanks, Joe
Michel Kohanim Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Hi Joe, Please do be kind enough to contact our support for more expeditious resolution. Please reboot your ISY and make sure the LEDs go through the following sequence: Power, RX, TX solid on MEM Starts blinking RX, TX turn off RX, TX, MEM blink randomly With kind regards, Michel
lapolonyc Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Got the same issue and everything seems to be ok (cable, router settings)
Michel Kohanim Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Hello lapolonyc, Which issue? You cannot access your ISY? With kind regards, Michel
Joe Dunn Posted April 3, 2011 Author Posted April 3, 2011 My access problem was solved after I unplugged the PLM and replugged it. After the ISY booted up it was able to connect to the router. Now it works fine. Joe
