Cannot enable internet access after 2.8.16 firmware upgrade

Help! My ISY99i was working fine over the internet until I upgraded to the new firmware v2.8.16. Now when I select "Enable internet access" on the Admin Console File menu, I get a message saying "Failed Enabling Internet Access." I did not change my Router (a NetGear WNDR3700) or any of its settings, and UPnP is still enabled there. The internal IP address of the ISY has not changed, and is still permanently assigned in the router.

What should I do next?

I hate to be the one to ask this question, are you sure the Enable Internet worked before. Not all Routers support that technique. Also if nothing changed there should still be Internet access from before.

Not sure if your still having the problem but,

I had this same problem just a couple weeks ago. My setup has not changed for over a year and it used to work before the 2.8.16 upgrade.

Basically at some point a couple weeks ago I tried accessing my ISY remotely and found I couldn't anymore. Checked all my setting and found the Internet access wasn't enabled on my ISY now. Tried re-enabling it and it wouldn't enable.

Checked my router and found UPnP was still turned on but the ISY wouldn't enable internet access.

I then tried to manually forward the ports as Michel suggested but that didn't work either.

To be honest I'm not sure what I did to get it working again but after multiple reboots of both the router and ISY, I was finally able to enable internet access via ISY using just the UPnP again. I think I had to turn off UPnP and then turn it back on again.

I was finally able to enable internet access but cannot access the ISY. I have a Qwest modem and a Linksys router in series and I suspect this is the problem. How do I port forward with this setup?
