Restore PLM error

Featured Replies

I'm trying to restore my PLM and I get the followig error:

Could not open config file to read

[conf/FF0101.rec]

This happens on two new 2413S PLM's.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Thanks Michel,

I went back two ISY backups and a restore and a reboot. I then tried a PLM restore and I got the same error.

Hi Michel,

I can't find an "overview table". I did check the latest topology and I do not have a device with the address FF.01.01.

Some background:

I'm converting an all X10 system with a JDS TimeCommander Plus and approximately 175 devices. I'm running the ISY in parallel with the JDS in development mode (still trying to learn the ISY). I have the X10 module, six Insteon devices and six X10 devices installed on the ISY for testing and learning.

If I disable the X10 devices on the ISY and do a PLM restore I do not get the error. The restore is very short, I don't see any writing to the Insteon devices. (I don't know if that is correct)

I need the capability for the Insteon and X10 devices to coexist on the ISY for the conversion.

Hi Michel,

I followed your instructions and enabled each X10 device one at a time. Each failed with a different address FF.xx.xx except one which does not fail. Strange, don't know what's different about this one X10 device.

I did notice that the address scheme in the topology file is different than the error message. The error message format is FF0101. Topology file is FF.001.001.1, if these formats are indeed the same, then I do have a X10 device FF 01 01 and a misspeak in the prior post.

Thank you for the assistance.

Hi Michel,

No, only the A10/X10 device addr begin with FF. The Insteon begin with 14 or 15.
