simonw Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Greetings Once upon a time I installed a third-party ISY-hosted web page program, Touchswitch I think it was. I no longer use this feature, but the HTML and other files installed on my ISY99i/Pro/IR persist even through new ISY firmware installations etc. I am concerned there will be some unintended consequence of having these outdated files hanging around. Question: Should I manually delete the /WEB (?) folder contents or what? Thanks, Simon
Michel Kohanim Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Hello Simon, Yes, that's all you have to do ... simply remove the contents of /user/web/[the directory you want to remove]. With kind regards, Michel
simonw Posted April 26, 2011 Author Posted April 26, 2011 Michel - thanks for the speedy reply and clarifying the directory I need to operate on. Inside /user/web I don't have any indication of which files and folders were default ISY things and which came with the Touchswitch application. Either by design or error I have a bunch of unknown HTML and icon files and other stuff sitting right at the /user/web/ level and not in any clean sub-directotry that I can identify as obsolete. So can I just delete the contents of /user/web/ ? Simon
Michel Kohanim Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Hi Simon, My pleasure! What you see are "user" web directory files and, as such, do NOT include any ISY system configurations/files. So, if you did not upload anything else into the same directory, then all you have to do is to remove everything under /user/web . With kind regards, Michel
