Elk outputs to play nice with irrigation module?

Greetings

 

My water valves are controlled by relay outputs on my Elk M1. Can you tell me if the new irrigation module for the ISY will help me get more sophisticated variable control of the valve run times?

 

Basically, I'm hoping I can use ET calculations and other features in the Irrigation Module and send valve on/off commands via the upcoming Elk module.

 

Any heads-up would be appreciated.

Yes, it should be possible to send commands to ELK via the upcoming module for ELK based on Irrigation events.
