Replace SLD with dual band SLD?

I'm having some communication issues with my latest installation, and I'm hoping that by installing an additional dual band device I might be able to correct it.

 

My question is, Can I use the replace device option within the ISY to replace an older SLD with the latest dual band SLD?

Hi Illusion,

 

As long as they are not of a different type (i.e. Dimmer vs. KPL or Dimmer vs. Relay), then the answer is yes.
