jsp Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Hello, I am using another PC now and it seems that I can't get lighting states in the Java console, it also see a 9 mins ramp rate for each light. When I go back to the laptop, everything is OK in the java console... any idea what could be causing this ? This computer is running Vista 64-bit, I updated Java to latest and cleared the temp files, but none of that helped. Thanks, jsp
LeeG Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 There was a time when both 32 and 64 bit Java install was required. Don't know if it still applies. Also does the Vista PC have the same trust level at the router the laptop does.
jsp Posted September 5, 2011 Author Posted September 5, 2011 no restrictions at the router, both the Vista and laptop are on the same subnet as the ISY I installed the 64-bit Java, seems like I only had 32-bit and it still has the same behavior.
LeeG Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Something is blocking the push of device status/information from the ISY. Perhaps something with the firewall.
Michel Kohanim Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Hello jsp, What type of firewall do you have and do you have Flash installed. There seem to have been a conflict between Flash and Java at some point but it has not been verified. With kind regards, Michel
jsp Posted September 5, 2011 Author Posted September 5, 2011 Disabled Kaspersky AV and it works now. Thanks for your help.
