I'm currently using the iRule app to control all lighting through my ISY and it works very nicely with one exception. Feedback. Upon issuing a query (node specific) it takes about 8 seconds for iRule to interpret the returned info. I know the delay is within iRule because the feedback returns almost instantly when queried from a webpage. Others using iRule and a PLM directly, without an ISY, reportedly get their feedback instantly. I was hoping to install my port server between my ISY and PLM (apparently digi port servers allow for serial devices to intercommunicate over a network) making my PLM directly accessible by iRule. Does anyone know if this might be possible?
