Hi All,

 

I have done 3 house installations and all of them have an ISY-99i in them.

 

#1 There is no other effective way to manyage ISY.

 

#2 90% + of the programming can be done so that it still works with out the ISY on.

 

#3 ISY shows week spots on wiring. Likely something plugged in interferring with the Insteon signals.

 

#4 Great diagnostics.

 

#5 Great Support.

 

Each of my installs have more than 50 devices in it. Very easy to manage.

I agree 100% with the OP

 

For medium to large installations, Insteon is THE cost-effective choice for home automation and ISY-99 is the Only Way to Insteon. I've been using ISY since 2006 and couldn't be happier with the product, UD product support, and the help that I've received from contributers to this forum.
