I have an ISY 99i working in my home to control basic things such as lights.

 

I recently purchased a security camera package (networked DVR with four CCTV analog cameras).

 

The DVR can operate on motion detection and I would like to be able to control other things in my house based on motion from my cameras.

 

Is there a way for me to get my ISY 99i to act on motion events from these analog cameras?

Hello rtp130,

 

It all depends on what the camera can do based on the motion. If it can call a URL, then you can do anything you want. On the other hand, if the motion triggers something on a web server/mail server, then we need to figure out how to extract that information in ISY.
