Teken Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 I don't know what has happened but my ISY has seriously just locked up and melted down. It will not let me restore from a back up. And pops up these Java error messages along with this one message I have never seen before. I do not have the ELK module or system. I do not have the MorningLinc etc. Teken . . . UPDATE: Well, it looks like something has given up the ghost. The ISY now says my login credentials are not authorized. I can not connect to the box what so ever . . . Right now its unplugged, along with the dual band PLM. Maybe it needs a good rest and a nap? Teken . . . Quote

Now I have to think what to do with programming I did (i.e. I had to use isy to control this inline directly - was not able to program it), since I like it Had to reboot (power off/on) ISY in order to make it behave properly. bocarob Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Ok since the update this program ran fine in version 3.1.12 the in version 3.1.13 became flaky and now in 3.1.15 run true then false then true the var alarmstate is set to 2 and the program still runs if i remove the main folder and place the program in the root of the tree it seems to work just fine. So, I do not think the problem is the var but the condition on the folder. Can you please create another folder (without any conditions), move this program there, and see if it works? bocarob Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 well it is not state but the prob is when the program is called and it is a int the test if it is false it reads it as true and runs the then anyway the change of the int is not what is triggering the program the program is called from another program. It seems if the int is nested it does not read correctly and then the then runs no matter what .... I have tried to find a pattern but it changes every so often i run it but if i reboot the isy it runs fine for a while and then it seems to mess up .. Not easy I know I have 15 int declared for the system .... Regards Robert Quote

I understand that it's quite intermittent and it may not happen all the time but the more information we have, the more the likelihood that we can perhaps figure out what's going on. I run this both ways another program calls it from a switch control is when on Or it runs just by the motion maybe the motion test should be first rather the var I will switch it and see (control then test) hmmm.... For instance, the first thing I would do is to disable the program that calls this program. Secondly, I would create the same exact program but instead with state variables. And, in the Then, instead of running thing, I would send notification. This way, we would know the status of each program and all the events associated with it. Again, this new program is the duplicate of the original so that both can run at the same time with two differences: state variable instead of integer and notifications instead of turning things on/off. Tunaman Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I downloaded and updated to 3.1.15 -- My 2475SDB is not working correctly. It will respond to a scene where the scene sets the level to 0 (a scene can turn it off), but it will not respond when scene sets the level to 100% (a scene can't turn it on). I think someone else reported that it was working but only after the rebooted (cycled power). I tried that, it didn't correct the problem. About reports both firmware and client at 3.1.15. Quote

With kind regards, Michel Michel, I have been unable to reproduce the problem, but I had been doing electrical work turing off various circuits while re-wiring some electrical boxes. All circuits were on during the time the ISY locked up and the times are correct. Quote
handyman300 Posted December 28, 2011 Posted December 28, 2011 I am trying to write a simple security program. I set an "away" button on and then if the door is opened and the "away" button is not pushed off then I get a text and some lights go on and off. For some reason the program does not run correctly. It just runs through (no wait) and the sate variable never gets set. $Away_Activated is set when the Away button is set fast on. That works fine. All of the lights get turned on, I get the text notification but the program just stops at that point, it doesn't wait 1 minute and the state variable $Door_Open_Away_On doesn't get set to 1. Quote
