nojstevens Posted January 28, 2012 Posted January 28, 2012 Hello, I have an ISY-99 and an ECM 1240. I've read all the posts on this forum related to linking the ECM 1240 and they all seem to refer to a Brultech or Electricity module that I don't have, yet if I go to 'Purchase Modules' there is no Energy module to buy Is the ECM support native to ISY without a module - if so is the correct place to enter the details the Configurtion/Electricity/Modules page under the Flex Alert Settings tab? Jon
Michel Kohanim Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Hi Jon, Brultech module is an optional module. Is your Brultech Zigbee/Wireless or connected through the network? With kind regards, Michel
nojstevens Posted January 29, 2012 Author Posted January 29, 2012 Hi Michael, That explains it I guess - my Brultech is ethernet/wired How do I get the module? Jon
Michel Kohanim Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Hi Jon, We are currently rethinking our energy monitoring strategy and that's why you cannot purchase it for 99i. With kind regards, Michel
jhenault Posted January 29, 2012 Posted January 29, 2012 Michel, What does this mean for those of us that already purchased and have been using the module? W/R Jim
Michel Kohanim Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Hi Jim, We still have not decided but if you stay with the latest official release (currently 3.1.17 RC1 is that release), then nothing changes. For future releases, we have couple of options that we are investigating and possibly an upgrade to 994 (all modules will be ported). With kind regards, Michel
