I noticed in mobilinc that everytime I opened my thermostat it always set the temp to 78 degrees and not what it was currently set at. I just thought it was mobilinc but they told me to check admin and it does the same thing. When I open my thermostat it always sets the set temp to 78 no matter what. If I run query it does the same thing. I assume this is a bug? It's kinda frustrating.

Here you go, watch the video... pay attention to set temp before running query and then after

Hi barkster:

1. What mode is your thermostat in?

2. What's your firmware version?

With kind regards,

Michel

Hi barkster,

Thank you. Quick questions:

1. Do you ever use the All On/All Off button?

2. Do you or have you in the past used SmartLinc in combination with MobiLinc?

With kind regards,

Michel

No I've never used the all on/off

No never used smartlinc

Hi barkster,

Thank you. There was one more report of an issue similar to yours and the problem was fixed (temporarily) by resetting the thermostat (just unplug the dongle and plug it back in).

Also, please note the following:

1. Cool setpoint cannot be greater than Heat setpoint ... the thermostat will automatically revert

2. The difference between cool and heat setpoints cannot be more than 2 ... again, the thermostat will automatically revert

With kind regards,

Michel

yeah may insteon if built into mine so I guess I could unplug it. I will look at setpoints though first, I sure hope that's it cause it's annoying. I just don't understand why querying it causes it to reset.
