Traditore Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 My kitchen lights turn off at 9:30PM every day, but I'd like it if they could stay on if Elk has detected motion in the last five minutes. Can I accomplish this through programs? If so, how?
apostolakisl Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 If Elk Zone 'Kitchen Motion' is Violated Then - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') Else Wait 15 minutes Set Scene 'Kithchen Island S' Off Using the Else clause means that the counter doesn't begin until the motion stops. No need for a scheduled 9:30 off at all. The lights will turn off 15 minutes after no motion regardless of what time it is.
Traditore Posted February 17, 2012 Author Posted February 17, 2012 Thank you for your reply. But I don't think this will work. Before 9:30, I need the lights to remain on, regardless of motion in the kitchen.
apostolakisl Posted February 17, 2012 Posted February 17, 2012 If Elk Zone 'Dining Motion' is Normal And From 9:15:00PM To 6:30:00PM (next day) Then Wait 15 minutes Set Scene 'Dining Rm Chand S' Off Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') If no one activates the motion, the timer will start at 9:15pm and the light will shut off at 9:30. If motion is detected the timer gets terminated. When the zone returns to nomral (motion stops), the timer starts again. Between 6:30pm and 9:15pm, this program does nothing.
Traditore Posted February 18, 2012 Author Posted February 18, 2012 I'll let you know if it works as expected.
