David D Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Hello all. I just installed an Elk M1 and want to integrate with my ISY99 Pro. I noticed that there are some references to Elk on the ISY programmer. What can or can't I do without the Elk ISY Module? I'd hate to spend $99 on the module only to find that I don't need it for what I want to do.
Michel Kohanim Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Hi David, At a high level, you can do all your programming in ISY (except for ELK tasks). Furthermore, you get to have unlimited emails/groups. And, we do have 30 day money back guarantee no questions asked. If you are even thinking about the module, then I am certain that you will find it extremely powerful and useful. And, in case it doesn't meet your expectations, just let us know and we'll give you a refund within 30 days. Here's more info on the ELK module: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... ity_Module With kind regards, Michel
David D Posted April 14, 2012 Author Posted April 14, 2012 Thank you Michel. I went ahead and purchased to module! I am now following the steps in the link you provided and cannot get the Elk RP software to connect to the M1 now using the settings suggested. I have even tried using the secure port that worked previously, and cannot connect to the Elk. Any ideas?
David D Posted April 14, 2012 Author Posted April 14, 2012 Hehe, mis-typed one IP address digit (I was tired)... BTW, works great. I haven't begun to explore all of the possibilities, but have already programmed my lights for "all on" and flash the post light during an alarm, and control lights with key fobs.
