MikeBro Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 I get an exception now when I launch the console from my desktop icon (Win7), even in administrator mode or using compatibility settings (suggested XP mode). No problem when launching from Internet Explorer. Any ideas? Michel Kohanim Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Hello MikeBro, Please open the Java console, go to Certificates and then remove all Universal Devices certificates. Once done, go back to http://www.universal-devices.com/99i/admin.jnlp and MAKE SURE you accept the certificate (otherwise you will get the same errors). With kind regards, Michel
MikeBro Posted July 2, 2012 Author Posted July 2, 2012 Michel, I don't see how to remove all (or any) certificates in the ISY Configuration Utility. I see "generate", "receive" and "install" selections in the menu. ---MikeB
LeeG Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 It is a function of Java, not the ISY. Invoke Java from the Control Panel (not sure if that is what Win7 calls it), select the Security tab and click Certificates.
MikeBro Posted July 3, 2012 Author Posted July 3, 2012 Ok. Did that, rebooted, and no change; still fails to run from the icon, or when I click on the link in Michel's message. It never asks me to accept a certificate.
Michel Kohanim Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Hello MikeBro, I am so very sorry to hear. Please submit a ticket (link below) and we'll login to your computer to see what's going on. With kind regards, Michel
MikeBro Posted July 9, 2012 Author Posted July 9, 2012 As usual, your support was superlative. I thought I had done everything correctly, but of course I must have missed something. ---MikeB
