Open URL action

One feature I'd love to see added to the ISY is the ability to call an action that opens a URL (i.e., HTTP Get). This would allow for easy interfacing with other devices that implement an http API like the Nabaztag "rabbit" (see http://api.nabaztag.com/docs/home.html for api info).

 

Among other things, Nabaztag provides text-to-speech and MP3 player services. It would be neat to utilize this device in conjunction with the ISY to provide spoken notifications to events like "the garage door was left open" or "a vehicle is arriving in the driveway".

Now that is a cool idea, I was looking at one of those funny eared rabbits a while back. Got my vote for this command idea too.
