I'm trying to install a new Appliance linc (ver4.7) like i always do using My admin console

(UI 3.2.6 & firmware 2.8.16)

I can get it to show up in my tree but cant control it? If i unplug it, I get a communication error and i can query it too...

All Appliancelincs (about 20 Older versions) still work fine.

Thanks in advance for your help....

The ISY needs to be updated to 3.2.6. Running a mismatch of Admin Console at 3.2.6 and the ISY at 2.8.16 should not be done.

After updating the ISY to 3.2.6, delete the ApplianceLinc and add it back when both the Firmware and the UI indicate 3.2.6. Be sure to clear the Java cache after updating the ISY to 3.2.6.

ISY 2.8.16 does not contain the I2CS support needed by many of the Insteon devices shipped after March 2012.

Put one RemoteLinc at a time into linking mode with Set button press, right click on RemoteLinc Primary node and select Write Updates to Device. When one is done go the next. Do not put more than one RF battery device into linking mode at a time.
