KPL

I have been messing a few days with an 8 button KPL 2486D ver. 40

Should seem straight forward, but this Knewbe is confused.

I want to use the bottom 4 buttons E,F, G, H.

I would like H. to be all off including all lights on the keypad, Excluding H. Would like to keep it on to know all off sceen is in gauged.

G. I would like to light up buttons G and A, load button. All lights in this group on other switches set to 80%,. The A. button load-control to 80%. If button A is pushed the load shuts off and A button light goes out. G button light goes out as sceen is no longer true.

F. button same as G but all members of the sceen turn to 50%.

E. button is the movie sceen. Control light A, and load on A shuts off, and 4 other members get shut off, while the remaining go to 25 %..

I have tried out these 4 sceens, and the function works from my laptop. Then I tried from the KPL and it does not function as I wanted them to.

I tried mutual exclusive buttons, and I have been messing with the non-toggle Off (button H) and non-toggle On for other states.

In the all off screen, I had the button set to non-toggle off, and all items listed as 0% power?

I also made a program IR trigger and a 45 second delay before launching the All off. That part seems to work.

But going back and forth between movie, and say 50% and 80% the sceen gets out of wack, and the button logic is a mess.

I have waded through, loads of these links the past few days, if someone could point me to a link with a blow by blow instructions on all of this works, that would be nice.

I am very green,

Hello Bill, I am so very sorry to hear about the problems you have been having.

We did find a problem with KPL v40 and sub buttons which we have put a workaround in our next release to be out by Friday. If you don't mind, please wait for that release, remove your KPL from ISY, add it back, test and let us know what you find.

Again, sincere apologies.

With kind regards,

Michel
