sandymctyre
Hi all, NOOB here. I am trying to hook up my third Insteon system using ISY994I, and this one is complicated... I have a house on a seperate hydro meter from a shop, and devices in both locations. Distance from shop to house is 100+ft. I have dual linc modules outside both locations, but the signal cannot bridge the distance (porobably because they are all in metal enclosures). The solution I would like to try is to have two ISY994I, one in the house, one in the shop...problem is...they are both on the same network. Is this possible? When i log into http://isy from a computer, I only find the first ISY connected. Any way to do this? Thanks, John Link to comment
sandymctyre
Update: Had an epiphany and tried to guess the IP address, based on the first device...successful! Thanks, John Link to comment
Michel Kohanim
Hi John, Yes. Also, if you use http://www.universal-devices.com//admin.jnlp then you will get an ISY Finder dialog which lists all your ISYs on the same network + you can add others to the list (click on the Add button). With kind regards, Michel Link to comment
