DST change

Hey Michel:

I thought I'd write this to the Forum.

I have an "AWAY" program which runs obviously when I'm AWAY. It was set (to AWAY) a week ago (before the time change). It was running a program (under summary) for me which has been flawless for a long time. That program essentially turns every switch OFF when I'm away every hour. That program ALWAYS shows in my programs as "Running "Then". Tonight I went into ISY to look around (remotely) and noticed that the program although showed TRUE, was indeed running IDLE. To force it, I went into Main and ran a HOME callout via ISY, ISY then showed "HOME". I waited several minutes and went back to tell ISY I was AWAY (2-KPL's, and an APL in a Scene). My Programs Summary then showed the ALL OFF as Running "Then" as it usaullay does.

As a subnote, I checked my LOG in EXCEL and the last time it ran as it should was at 1:30 AM Saturday morning, essentially a half hour before the time change. Coincidence? A Bug? I don't know. Just thought I'd point it out.

Regards,

Tim

I have a program that runs every 3 mins after it last ran but on Sunday morning it stopped running at 1:58 AM, 2 mins before DST kicked in...

I query my Venstar thermostat every 15min (via a 15min countdown timer not actual time) to page me if it changes to OFF status or humidity changes and the first query after the Nov 4th time change showed it was off. Sure enough it went from COOL to off. I was up monitoring my work systems for correct time change, so it had to be related to the time change.

I see this everytime my ISY99 reboots but not sure why it would occur on a time change. I have no programs that define OFF mode for the thermostat. Not a problem, but wonder why it would change the mode if the ISY doesn't even have a routine/program that selects OFF mode on the thermostat.
