I currently have a ISY994iZ/IR PRO and would like to know how to upgrade it to a ZS.

 

I would also like to know how to determine if I have a Smart Meter and what is the process to get my ISY 'Provisioned' by my power company.

Unfortunately it's not an upgrade but a replacement: you will have to replace the Zigbee radio to a Smart Grid Zigbee radio.

 

Who's your utility? Each utility has different procedures for provisioning a HAN device.

Before doing so, I strongly suggest that you contact your utility and ensure that they would indeed allow you to communicate with their meter.

 

The cost is about $100.00 but you would also have to take into consideration the shipping costs.

I contacted the Utility Co. and they didn't have a clue what I was talking about. They did give me the number of the third party Co. that gathers the information. I contacted them and they need to know what you/I need to have from them to be able to monitor my meter.

 

I have sent an note to sales to determine the exchange details.
