PlanoMike Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 I have just added a new ApplicanceLinc v.42 to my system. I have added it to a single scene, and the only device in the scene is the ApplianceLinc. The AL responds when I issue on and off commands from the "Main" tab of the ISY, but it does not respond to on commands from the scene. I have been through several cycles of factory reset to no avail. If run the ISY diagnostics and have list the device links table for this AL I get 32 entries with each memory location containing the last two digits of its memory address. If I do a compare to the ISY links table, the first entry does not match what is in the ISY (none of them do for that matter). Does this sound like a bad ApplianceLinc? TIA, Mike
LeeG Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 The ApplianceLinc is an I2CS device. What ISY firmware is being used? Click Help | About, what is displayed for Firmware and UI? The data being returned is the result of the ISY not treating the ApplianceLinc as an I2CS device. This is normally the result of running ISY or Admin Console code that does not support I2CS.The commands being issued are actually just being echoed back from the ApplianceLinc as those commands have been dropped from I2CS devices.
PlanoMike Posted November 25, 2012 Author Posted November 25, 2012 Ah ha! I had set messaging to I1 only when troubleshooting the other day and forgot to set it back. Set messaging back to automatic and all works now. Thanks! PS: Firmware version on the ISY is 3.2.6
