Pster Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 I am trying to set up my ISY for port forwarding. Is there a particular port or range of ports I must use? I am pretty sure my Linksys Router requires ports between 0 and ~65412. I am able to access my ISY over the internet remotely as long as my home computer is turned on and logged into the ISY program. But when I turn the computer off, I cannot access it over the net. I think I can set the port forwarding up having watched some tutorials....just want to make sure I have the right port. Thanks! Phil
Michel Kohanim Posted December 2, 2012 Posted December 2, 2012 Hi Phil, ISY has two ports: one for http (unsecure) and one for https (secure) both of which you can change in Admin Console | Configuration | System | Network Settings. First of all, please do NOT ever forward to the unsecure port. As far as the secure port, usually anything above 2000 should be OK and not used by well-known services. For your reference, please take a look at instructions here: http://www.universal-devices.com/mwiki/ ... PnP_Router With kind regards, Michel
