JSchumann Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 What are the differences between 2412, 2413 and 2414? Researched but not easy to figure out. Thanks, John
LeeG Posted December 25, 2012 Posted December 25, 2012 The 2414 is a PLC rather than a PLM. One of the first powerline interface devices. Uses a different interface than a PLM. Does not support Extended commands making it useless in today’s environment. The 2412 is no longer being sold. Had memory to physically hold 2000+ links but had issues not being able to locate link records over approx 800+ due to processor speed. The 2413 is the currently available PLM. It is Dual Band, supports approx 1000 links, has a faster processor than the older 2412. The 2413S Serial interface PLM is what works with the ISY. The 2413 does not provide 12V DC as the 2412 did so a small external power supply is required with the ISY. .
JSchumann Posted December 27, 2012 Author Posted December 27, 2012 Thanks LeeG, exactly waht I was looking for. So 2413S and PS for ISY. John
