email notifications from forum

I don't seem to be getting any notification emails from subscribed forum threads any longer. Seemed to start after migration. Checked Manage Subscriptions and there are a number of entries. It very well be something I have overlooked but cant seem to find anything.

I have the same problem. Got this from Michel a few days ago. The option was not set. I set it, did the Submit but it did not help. Did it a second time yesterday and again this morning. The option is correct after setting it the first time but still no email alerts. Hope you have better luck.

 

1. Go to User Control Panel (top right)

2. Under Overview | Manage Subscriptions, please just look for one of the

topics for which you are not getting notified

3. Go to Board Preferences | Edit Posting Defaults .. make sure "Notify me

upon replies by default:" is checked and then Submit again regardless of any

changes

Hi Guys,

 

I am so very sorry for all the trouble. Today we had major migration issues most of which was my fault for not planning properly: the whole site was down (except the forum) and none of our email accounts were working.

 

Of course, the problems with email notifications from this forum predates the issues we had today so I am working with our hosting tech support personnel to find the root cause.
