mgb99 Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Safari updated the Java plugin and now it says "Plugin Blocked" when I attempt to launch My ISY. Is there a workaround? Or, if necessary, is there a way to revert back to the last Java plugin?
Brian H Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 There where security warning about Java. I believe Apple disabled Java plug ins and I disabled Java in my IE8 with Windows XP These threads may give you more details. viewtopic.php?f=44&t=10409 viewtopic.php?f=19&t=10408
mgb99 Posted January 12, 2013 Author Posted January 12, 2013 My problem is that Apple has already disabled the Java plugin and the fix states to disable the plugin after I've downloaded the Admin Console and the ISY Dashboard. What do I do now?
Brian H Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Did they lock it out so even the method for Safari in information link on the Java site would not work if you enabled it? By checking the Enable Java box. http://www.java.com/en/download/help/di ... rowser.xml
mgb99 Posted January 13, 2013 Author Posted January 13, 2013 Thanks. Got it to work with Admin Console now. But ISY Dashboard was no longer available for download. Did they take it off the site?
arw01 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 it was a bad link, look at the link when you copy it and you will see it says 99, instead of 99i like the admin link does. fix it and you can get the dashboard.
JeremyLaurenson Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 There is a new Java update just released. Give it a whirl - it fixes this issue and makes you more secure.
