Palm Tungsten C

I have an older Palm that has wireless internet on it. I just tried to connect to "my lighting" using the ip address - the screen that shows "devices - scenes-adminstrative console" pops up. I can't connect to the adminstrative console (I assume that Java is not installed on the palm) but scenes and devices are there and work perfectly :D -- only one thing -- I can't tell the status (on or off) of the device or scene.

This makes a great touchscreen remote but I would like to see the status if possible?

Thanks

Glenn

Hi Glenn,

When you click on the devices, don't you see a list (table) with the device name and the status right next to it? The scene don't have any status (yet).

With kind regards,

Michel

Yes, thanks, that is correct. I see the status of the devices not the scenes. I was surprised that it worked at all (and pleased). Do you know if it's possible to get the administrative console to work with the palm?

Even more valuable to me would be to access the isy with my Blackberry. I have logged into the test set up with no problem, but if you remember, I have a hughes modem/linksys router and haven't been able to access my isy from outside with the blackberry yet.

I love the ISY -- works flawlessly and does everything I want it to.

gmurch,

I do remember vividly your Hughes modem!

1. you can not use Admin Console on any mobile device since it requires a full Java Runtime which is not available on any devices

2. As far as your Blackberry, try https://www.cnn.com ... if you have the same issue, then the problem is that you will have ask your provider to enable HTTPS on your service (apparently it's not enabled by default with some providers).

Please also bear in mind that 2.6.2 (and below) crash when accessed by blackberry. As such, please use caution.

With kind regards,

Michel
