Setting default ramp rates and managing links

Hi,

I've just purchased an ISY-99i and I am having a hell of time trying to set default ramp rates for my dimmer switches. My understanding is that to set the ramp rate you adjust the slider for the appropriate device and then reboot the device by pulling out the air-gap thingy for 10 seconds and then holding it in for 3 seconds.

I was able to get this to work on just one dimmer. The rest all seem to default back to rapid on/off mode. Now, the ones that default back to rapid mode don't exactly behave as I would expect when I try and reboot them. After I have pulled out the air-gap then holding it in for 3 seconds, the bottomost LED blinks every few seconds. I have no idea what is going on. I couldn't find anything in the ISY documentation regarding this.

Also, I'm assuming that when you reboot a device, you lose any links that have been established with other devices.

Help! This whole thing is driving me nuts!

Thanks,

Andy

To apply the ramp rate/on level changes to a SwitchLinc all you need to do is pull the air gap out for 5-10 seconds, then pop it back in to its normal position - do not push and hold it fully in.

You do not lose any existing links with the above described soft reboot.

And FYI, you do not need to air gap KPLs for the local ramp rate to take effect.
