  1. I have a very similar situation (to this post). I have updated my ISY to version 5.3.4 about two weeks ago. Since then I have received the "Cannot Communicate with..." messages on more than 10 devices wired and battery operated. For the most part these same devices seem to respond to programs properly but occasionally they do not. In my case these are all Zwave devices. I have only a few Insteon devices and these do not seem to be affected. I have run the "Zwave Synchronize Nodes" command for all of the nodes. This has not solved the problem. I am hoping to avoid excluding and then re-including these devices so I don't have to spend hours adjusting the many programs I have running. I do have a Polisy Pro running with my ISY. I would like to run ISY on Polisy but I do not fully understand it yet. I am not apposed to simply moving everything to the Polisy and retire my 994i ZW/IR Pro. Any suggestion? Thank you.
  2. I resolved the issue. Not only was my DNS servers incorrect as suggested by kzboray but I discovered that the IPv4 Gateway was incorrect. The error message has gone away and I successfully installed the node. Thanks for everyone's help.
  3. I still have the issue but my DNS servers were indeed somehow changed to. 0.0.0.0. I made the correction but I still get the error code even after rebooting the Polisy and re-confirming I have the proper DNS servers. I think that was definitely part of the problem. Thank you for the suggestion.
  4. Thank you for your reply. Please give more specific instructions. I do not know what a terminal program is. Thanks
  5. This is an ISY994i ZW/IR PRO and a Polisy Pro.
  6. I have updated my ISY software to version 5.3.4 from 5.3.0 and Polisy Pro to version 5.2.0. Since then MyQ node has stopped working. I deleted it and uninstalled it. Then I tried to reinstall and received the message. cloneRepo: Non-zero exit code 128. I have tried installing a few times and rebooting the ISY and Polisy with no success. I could not find pertinent help on the forum. Any suggestions? Thank you
  7. Now that makes perfect sense to me. Thank you hart2hart, llaryllix, MrBill and apostolakisl.
  8. Hello, I have been using the following program to keep an update on the battery status of my Insteon Leak Sensor 2852-222 by blind faith since 2018. I trust that the program logic is correct because I have seen postings of similar programs, but I just don't understand it. I would be grateful if someone could explain it in terms a simpleton like me can understand. The following is the program.Control 'Sensor-Heartbeat' is Switched OnThenWait 25 hoursSend notification 'low battery' It seems to me that I should get a "low Battery" notification every 25 hours and if the Heartbeat is not On, then the battery is actually low and I will get no notification. By the way, I do not get a "low battery" notification every 25 hours. Thank you
  9. That makes perfect sense to me. I think I understand better. Thank you
  10. Thank you for your replies MrBill and Techman. I now understand how to write a program using the Battery Level node. I still would like to know how to use a specific parameter. For example, on the Zooz Leak Sensor ZSE42, "Parameter 4 : Decide when the sensor should report low battery to the Hub. Values 10-50 (% battery Life). Default 20 Size 1 byte dec" That means to me that there is some sort of command or message sent to the hub when the battery reaches 20%. So my question is how does the ISY handle Parameter 4 and how to I single out Parameter 4 and insert it into a program? Some of the other sensors I use have a similar low battery warning features. It seams to me that it would be more efficient to use the feature designed in the device. It is entirely possible that with the ISY the only way to deal with a low battery warning is to write a program similar to what Techman described. But if there is a way to single out an individual parameter and use it in writing programs that would create a great potential for some very good programs other than just low battery warnings. Does any body know what they mean when they refer to "Group 1 and Group 2 -5" ? Thank you
  11. I have written a number of ISY programs for motion sensors, lights to come on, Leak sensors to trigger valve shut off but I don't know how to find a specific parameter such as "parameter 101" and write a program based on that status. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you
  12. I have a few battery operated devices that have a parameter that reports low battery to the hub. I have had an ISY for a number of years but still consider myself a newbie. How does the ISY handle this parameter? I have looked unsuccessfully for information about this. I would like to be warned when the batteries are low. In the instructions they also refer to Group1 and Groups 2 - 5. I'm not sure what the groups are and how they function in my ISY. The devices I am using are the Zooz motion sensor ZSE02 (now discontinued), ZooZ ZSE42 water leak sensor,(Brand new on the market. Zooz has not tested it on an ISY. I think I am the first to use it with my ISY) and Insteon Wireless Motion Sensor II 2844-222. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
  13. Hello, I have been using a Polisy Pro for a couple of weeks and am very happy with it. Currently, I access it through my LAN when I am home. I am away from home quite a bit and would like to access the Polisy Pro remotely like I do with my ISY via ISY Launcher. I have looked through the user guide and have not found a way to access the Polisy Pro remotely. Are there any plans to have this feature available or have I just overlooked the instructions on how to do that?
  14. Thank you for your help.
  15. Has anyone used the Zooz Zen31 RGBW LED Controller? I just installed one and an confused at the many parameters it has installed when I included the device in my Z Wave system. 16. I am considering purchasing the Aeotec Home Energy Meter Gen 5, Z-Wave Plus. Has anyone tried this device? I am using an ISY994i zw/ir pro. Universal Devices Support believes that it should work with my ISY but they have not tested one. I see in the forum, that an older version works but no mention of the Gen 5, Z-Wave Plus version. Thanks
