  1. @landolfi I held the reset button on Aqara Motion for 10 sec both ways. Once before I pushed add zigbee device and the second time, I pushed Aqara button after I pressed add zigbee device. Would be good to know if anyone got these Aqara motion (non-p1) or even got the new Aqara P1 motion to pair with Eisy?
  2. Just bought a couple of Aqara Motion Detectors (Not P1 but original model) off Amazon. Not pairing with Eisy 5.6.4 Checked Zigbee support then save. Rebooted Eisy Now have zigbee Drop down menu. Clicked add zigbee device Held button on device for 10 seconds. It flashed a view times but did not connect to Eisy. Has anyone been able to get these to work on Eisy? I saw latest 5.6.4 enables Zigbee Motion devices so thought I would give them a try.
  3. Went from 5.6.3 to 5.6.4. Everything seems to be working fine. Note: I, like @Geddy always after upgrading, power down (6 clicks of power button), then unplug the eisy for about 30s, then plug back in. Had a problem in past where that fixed a problem, so now I just do it. Thanks UD devices team for your dedication to making the product better everyday.
  4. @GTench Im pretty picky about stuff I buy. Of course, I was concerned about buying them with not a long track record. They have alot of good Amazon reviews so it was worth a shot. We have been really happy with these roller shades. Glad it worked out for you too. Just got delivery notice. Last batch of 5 arriving Tuesday.
  5. @Jimbo.AutomatesI was. I can select it either in IoX or UD Mobile but the only ones that work are disarm and the two "Armed Next" options. The others flash like Armed Stay but then go back to disarmed
  6. Update: Got my next group of Smartwings battery automated roller shades in. I have a total of 5 completed including 3 that are 110" wide (1 external mount in front of a double French exterior door with sidelights.). Ordered directly through Smartwings website and worked in a good discount from them. Wife and I have been happy with them as stated so far and they were a great price. Now that I have more opening and closing at the same time in my Eisy program without wait statements in between them, occasionally one would not open or close. I added a repeat 2 times statement and that takes care of it. Not sure why it randomly would occasionally have one shade not open or close. Ive had for about three weeks. Big shades still show 100% battery using twice a day. 2 little shades like 40" wide showing 93%. Only thing I can think is the smaller shades dont have as many battery cells as they are smaller. They are rated for 600 open close cycles so we will see. I had one inside mount window that left a gap that you could see in due to very little trim around window. On that one I bought some pvc outside molding 90 degree installed by window on sides, caulked and painted trim color. Like $12 at HD. Now no gap. Just ordered my last group of 5 shades. Two more big kahunas at 106" and 110" wide, two regular window 32" wide and a 63" wide. Hope to get them in about a week and a half. They are a mix of semitransparent and blackout.
  7. Thanks @Jimbo.Automates. The only Armed Status that will set my Elk with UDmobile or IoX is "Armed next Stay Mode" or "Armed next Away Mode". Is that the only two that allow you to change the actual armed status of the Elk alarm from eisy IoX or UD Mobile?
  8. Tried going into elk node in UD mobile for eisy. Trying to set the alarm in stay or away mode in UD Mobile app. Is it possible? Thanks.
  9. Well the definition of room is: As for your question. I live in Georgia. This past winter temps got down to 7 degrees. As Eyegore from Young Frankenstein would say that is "Abinormal" for us. To you northerners you are thinking, "Ah, that is T-Shirt weather" Many of the homes in our area that had heat pumps ended up with frozen ruptured pipes as the heat pumps couldnt keep up with the cold. Probably not designed for that low a temp though. My view is as more folks move off Nat Gas to heat pump and other electric devices, it will get cheaper. I am staying with it for heating, stove, hot water, and dryer. At least until the Govt bans it and you cant buy anymore. As for Seer, just had that conversation with an HVAC guy. Really came down to 1) Estimated savings of higher SEER per month. 2) How long were you planning on being in house (Payback time) and 3) how much more the higher SEER device is going to cost. Then you just run the numbers and make the call.
  10. I do it with setting a vacation or Away variable. If I set my Elk alarm away it sets the variable to 1. Then all my away programs look for my away variable if 1. When I disarm my alarm the away variable is set by to 0. You could also use UD Mobile to manual set an away variable. Im not into microphones being in my house. Not that Im saying anything concerning. I just value my privacy. I know some will say what about your phone or your Roku device that is listening. I set all those off for microphone listening. Whether they do so or not is another story. That being said, when I sell my house, I will most likely convert my Eisy controller to whatever the most simple controller there is and add Alexa or whatever else is popular at that time. High probability of whoever is buying house not being a techie.
  11. Checked Port with Portchecker. Its open. As for the Host ip config, @MBell that is my IP of my actual rachio device on my network. I thought this was my IP and that the Rachio web will send data via webhooks to it and the port?
  12. Need some help on this one. Installed from PG3 store. In config, I put: Poll short left at 5 Poll Long left at 60 API key from Rachio site. My DDNS address port left as 3001 Left Node additional Interval blank In my Ubiquiti edgerouter: Port Forwarding Page Original Port: 3001 Protocol: Tried all three, UDP, and TCP. Which one? Forward to address: IP of Eisy/ PG3. It is the same for both. Forward to port: Tried 3001. Tried PG3 port. Is it the port number I put in Rachio config or Port number of PG3? With all that, I did not reboot PG3/ Eisy. Wanted to validate config first here.

    MY ISY994 Died

Eisy is the Universal Devices replacement for the ISY. I moved to it from my ISY.

    MY ISY994 Died

Why Polisy vs using Eisy device?
  15. @carealtorI feel your pain. Unfortunately, unless you find an internet forum where some guy says he just tried this Somfy shade model # xys with a Smartwings or other brand remote model # XYS and it worked, you will never know. Even then it might not work. I havent seen any of the brands say they are compatible with this vendor remote or other. It is in the manufacturer best interest to make their remotes only work with their stuff to get you from switching brands. Cue sinister laugh track with picture of a mean old corporation I think your options are: Ensure you are buying shades that you know work with Zwave, zigbee, etc so you know you can control with controller and controller remote devices. Buy all same manufacturer shades. Find online source of someone that is testing remotes with different shades to confirm. Havent seen one but could exist. Find local vendor where you bring another brand shade to store and test with their remote before buying their shade. Non-solution: Get a remote cubby for you 4 different shade manufacturer remotes. And if all that doesnt work other non-solution, fallback on human-automation shade opening and closing. I do like the automatic shades though although not cheap. For some reason its one of my wife and my favorites. Dont know if it is because its new or what. All the other automation: lights, hot water recirc, leak detection and whole house water cutoff, humidity control, UV light control, etc are nice, but not as in your face noticeable, I guess.
  16. @carealtor In looking at the manual for the shade zwave motor and the Remote manual, they are two different frequencies. Meaning the Remote is not a zwave remote. See screenshots below. One is zwave blind manual. One is remote manual. The remote is tuned to this shade and doubtful to work with other manufacturers. But, If you were controlling all of your blinds via a zwave controller and they were different brands but all zwave, then you could find a zwave remote or use UD mobile with Eisy to control. You can order these smartwings shades with zwave 700, zigbee, homekit, matter, thread, wifi or bluetooth motor control. I went with zwave as I have an Eisy controller.
  17. The new shade (not blind like my original post) has worked like clockwork. It added immediately to Eisy with no issues which is not always my experience on battery devices. When I open shade via UD mobile takes less than a second to move. Very responsive. Very happy with it so far. I have 9 more windows to do in stages. Ordered my next 4 with Smartwings website. I was able to negotiate a discount with them since I was ordering over $2K worth. Their site also offers a 3 year warranty vs 2 year on Amazon. The 4 are supposed to be here tomorrow so fun in store for this weekend. Two are huge at a little less than 110" wide. One inside mount and one outside mount over French doors. Should be fun.
  18. I have some battery Zooz devices but not the door sensors. However, they may work the same. Here is what I did to resolve similar problem. Remove device from Eisy Factory reset the device. If you have ability to update the Firmware, do so. I use a home assistant setup that makes it real easy. Here is where it gets fun. Put eisy in add to zwave mode. Take sensor close to eisy and put in inclusion mode. Every 5 to 6 second wake the sensor again Repeat 6 until the sensor is included. See if that works for you.
  19. Agree Timedata is way to go. I was posting a workaround for you in event it is not fixed or fixed quick enough for you.
  20. I sent right when you did. I see now. Impressive. I may be out of my lane in this, but why couldnt you assign minutes to your variable using below screen shot. Then use counters to calculate. Granted it probably could be done programmatically in ISY/eisy, but much easier using Timedata.
  21. Not knowing exactly what the details are. What about something like this where the program would run every second, minute or hour. In your Then you could put the action.
  22. You probably need to add a little more to your problem? Is everything on an insteon switch or outlet? Did it once work and now it dont?
  23. @AGinsburg01Ah. If you dont mind me asking, what is the use case where you are trying to trigger an if on a minute, hour or second value?
  24. Update good. Have not tried Zigbee yet. Need to get a device. Will most likely get a motion. Have not been happy with insteon/ zwave motions that I have used so far.
  25. @AGinsburg01To use ISY or Eisy, just create some variables and run once a night to update them. I dont use time variables but you could. Here is the program to update the variables.
