  1. @Geddy Perfect. Ill delete the old port forwards. I use UD mobile and have Portal sub.
  2. @Michel Kohanim Actually I am. Are they not required anymore? Had this setup from a few years ago. Do I just delete the port forwards now on the router? Do I need any port forwards for eisy to work? I use UD mobile.
  3. Thanks @Michel Kohanim ANy idea on the second item I listed? In between those times, I got random Authorization errors. How do I tell what device is throwing the Auth errors to fix this?
  4. @Michel Kohanim Ticket number is 21458. I did a test. I cleared error log at 121PM. Top part is while I am still logged into Admin. I only have level: 1. Status/Operational events in event log selected. I then log out of admin console at 137PM I get the IoX service errors while logged into admin at 121PM and then when I log back in at 252PM. I didnt get them when I was not logged into Admin. What can cause this? In between those times, I got random Authorization errors. How do I tell what device is throwing the Auth errors to fix this? 5. Ah yes. "That was easy". I must of overwrote it in the past. Thanks @Michel Kohanim
  6. Actually duh, I opened a ticket on this 6 months ago. Just asked for status. Previously @Michel Kohanim said it was on the list.
  7. Thanks @Geddy Ill open a ticket as they happen very frequently. Have a Happy Georgia Thanksgiving.
  8. Dont know how I pulled this off. Somehow there is a top level folder shown below, that I dont want to be there. How can I remove it?
  9. See error log entries below. I get them pretty much non-stop. Any idea of the issue and what I can do to fix? 10. Is there any way to have Eisy control Roller Shades I have setup on a Smartthings Station hub?
  11. Thanks @tazman@Geddy This looks like it will do what I need. I just need the Matter and Thread based router functionality. Narrowed down to Smartthings station and Echo 4th gen. I dont see an easy way to connect smartthings station to Eisy, unless you know of one. If not Ill just go with the echo. Then when Eisy is working with Matter Thread, I'll move the shades over to the Eisy.
  12. @tazman So you are saying there are two options I could use to control Alexa connected devices with the Eisy? The first requires a virtual nod server? Which PG3 node server is that? On the second option, I create an Alexa routine to control the Alexa connected shade, then I can use Eisy program to open and close shade connected to Alexa? Bit of a noob on Alexa so just verifying. Thanks
  13. Since eisy is not ready yet for matter, I want to install two Matter thread shades to an Amazon Echo 4th gen. It has Matter and Thread capability and acts as a thread border router. I know you can use Alexa with eisy to turn on lights for devices connected to EISY, but can I write a program in Eisy to control shades installed into Alexa? If not, the only hubs with Thread border routers are Apple Home (Home Pod), Smartthings station or the Aeotec smartthing hub, and the Google Home Nest hubs. Would any of these hubs allow me to have my Eisy control the shades connected to those hubs. If the answer is no, I may just need to go with a Smartthings station and not have it integrated with Eisy. Then when Eisy gets Matter working switch the shades back.
  14. Yes. The battery shades do not act as hardwire repeaters, but in his case his hardwire ones will. I do like though that I can query the shades without having to push a button on them to make them alive. Every other zwave battery device I used you have to hit button on them to make alive.
  15. Definitely go zWave. Zigbee is not fully stable yet on eisy. May or may not work. Looked at hardwire myself. Had too many windows that were going to be a bear to get to. One of my windows has a 120v next to shade. I actually plugged up that shade even though it has battery. May cause battery to not age well, but have a battery backup if we lose power. Was not a big difference in price for hardwire vs battery, so went battery. Could of went either way on that window.
  16. Really like our shades. The remote actually gets used. Wife or kids who don't use UD mobile can open and close them if needed.
  17. @GTench Here is how I installed all of mine. Factory reset the blind - Held button on shade down for 14 seconds. The motor jogs 4 times Paired the remote to the motor. Follow remote pairing guide Hung the shade Set the top and bottom limits Paired with eisy (zwave) two ways: remote and shade. Both worked. Remote - Make sure the remote is selected to control this shade. Remove the rear battery cover of the remote, Press the left P button (little button behind the battery cover) (1 motor jog), UP button (1 jog), and P (1 jog), When the Red led light on shade indicates that you entered the pairing mode Shade - Press and hold button on shade for 6 seconds. Motor jogs twice, light flashes red. Button can be a little tight to get to with finger. Right after red light starts flashing on shade, select add zwave device in EISY. Fully charge battery Shade now can be controlled with remote or EISY via UD Mobile or programs.
  18. @GTench Glad to hear they are doing good and Wife is happy (ultimate approval) We are still very happy with the Smartwings shades. All are up and working great. Since the original charge, I am in high 70s% on battery life after 2 months, so tracking at about 10% reduction a month. Dont know if it will maintain linear decrease. but figure it will last 8 to 10 months on a charge.
  19. Hopefully I dont jinx myself, but when I run these upgrade packages once a week I do the following and it has worked like a charm. Turn on log screen so I can see what happens: Open Windows CMD prompt 1) ssh admin@YourIPHere 2) pw. Admin if you never changed it. 3) sudo tail -f /var/udx/logs/log In Admin console, run Upgrade Packages. Watch the activity in the log. At the end, in the log, it will say reboot. I dont reboot when Admin screen says reboot as there is still activity in the log. Go into Java console and Delete all temporary internet files. Download the lastest IoX Start Java download. Open Admin console. open Log again, step 1 above. Run the Upgrade packages. Sometimes additional items get installed that were not upgraded the first time. Reboot when Log says to reboot At this point, on the eisy box, i hit the power button 5 times. This shutsdown the eisy box. When power button is red, I pull the power plug out for 30 sec then plug back in. Once powered back up, I go into Pg3 console and reinstall all node servers. Its worked every time for me. No issues on this Upgrade.

    Shades

I have 10 smartwings Zwave plus shades I bought off Amazon Super inexpensive and work great. They sound like they function same as yours. 0=fully closed to lower stop limit 100 = fully open to upper stop limit In between is varying stated of openess.
  21. My house and neighborhood has the same thin-walled copper and pinholes are popping all over the place. The main culprit is the red dirt I discussed in post above. The red dirt is high in iron. Iron settles in copper pipes and causes pinholes due to dissimilar metal corrosion. If I replace it in future Im going Pex. I always preferred copper but after this fiasco, I'm out. For now, added serious filtration listed above to hold me over.
  22. Just upgraded eisy and pg3. No issues.
  23. Had a tankless in old house with a chilipepper installed in master bath farthest from tank. Worked great for 5 years and we moved. New house had a 12 year old tankless that went out on me. Started leaking but I think it was due to water. On City water but lots of red dirt in water. I put a big spin down filter and two 20" sediment filters in parallel. I also put a smaller sediment filter on the inlet to the tankless. New Renai tankless doing great. I use isy, now eisy to control a pump at water heater on hot line with a Zwave plus plug. At end of line, I use a 120V solenoid valve plugged into zwave plus outlet that opens when the hot water pump comes on. Valve stays open until the water gets hot then shuts down the pump and the valve. Being using it for about 5 years and works great. Motion in the water spots on far end of house (kitchen, laundry, or bathroom) will trigger the pump valve combination until it gets hot. I keep a timer on it too as not to come on more than every 45 minutes as water in pipes stays hot enough.
  24. @Jimbo.Automates I bought one of these in 2019 and its been solid. Always works. Previous to this I had a dome water cutoff but it did not have the power to turn off my ball valve. This bulldog has no problem with it. It doesnt require and specialty plumbing and goes right over valve. Here is amazon link: EcoNet Controls EVC200-HCSML The Bulldog Valve Robot, Z-Wave Water Valve, Smart Home Controller Required, Easy to Install and No Plumbing Required, Valves up to 1.5" - Amazon.com
  25. Agree with @Techman. Although it would be better to start clean and install all nodes fresh. If you have alot of nodes this is very time consuming. If you just have a few, then I would just start fresh. If you migrate, just fix the ones that didnt migrate properly, most likely wireless devices.
