  1. I connected to the ISY by Telnet today, reformatted the SD card, reloaded 3.2.6 and restored a backup. The ISY appeared to function normally, but backups failed again. After that the ISY is not able to be reached and needs to be power cycled. I will try replacing the SD card with a new card. Thanks for the advice...
  2. I agree something is wrong with backup. I am using an iMac with Mountain Lion and was unable to browse to my backup folder after I selected Backup ISY. When I selected the backup folder I just got a busy animated icon. This didn't happen in 3.3.1. The other change I made is to access Admin Console using method (d) since my original method was to access the ISY directly from my home page but this caused the new version of Safari to crash. FYI, Java 7. Clearing the cache is now done through System Preferences Something very strange has happened - my ISY no longer can backup. I backup about a couple times per week usually. With 3.2.6 and 3.3.1 I took backups regularly. After I installed 3.3.2 this broke. I have now downgraded (via restore and firmware install) to 3.3.1 and 3.2.6 - but neither of them could backup, the backup process stalls on a file, the same file but different with each firmware version. I have now settled on 3.3.1, which appears to run fine except for the ability to backup. I have tried backing up on two different machines. I did all this with my AV program unloaded, cleared Java cache each time, etc. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
  3. I cannot backup my ISY data with 3.3.2, it has failed the same way twice in a row. I get several errors - "Cannot retrieve File /Conf/D2D/0058/PGM" , socket timeout and cannot create ZIP file. The ISY then crashes, is "not found" and I need to power it off and back on. With 3.3.1 I was able to backup normally.
  4. Upgraded from 3.3.1 - no issues so far.... 3.3.1 and 3.3.2 seem to be a bit faster than prior versions, loading and when using the admin console.
  5. Updated from 3.2.6 - so far so good, no issues.
  6. Thanks for the reply, but it can show as negative on the climate tab as can "Yesterday's water deficit." I am working on some irrigation programming - and would like to be able to test and check for negative values. A negative Irrigation requirement or a negative Water Deficit simply means that it rained a lot. Would it be possible to allow for negative values? I think there are legitimate uses for that and it is limiting not to have them. Thank you,
  7. Thanks, I did that and I still can only choose positive values. The combo-box only starts at zero and increases with positive values. http://www.flickr.com/photos/candide/71 ... /lightbox/
  8. I am trying to write some programs that trigger on "Irrigation Requirement" and/or "Yesterdays Water Deficit". We had a lot of rain a couple times recently, my water deficit is currently -1.1069 and I have seen negative Irrigation Requirement. When setting an IF statement condition and selecting either one of those as a variable I see only positive numbers. Is there a way to trigger a program on a negative value? Specifically I would want to be able to trigger within negative range - like: If Irrigation Requirement < -0.1 and Irrigation Requirement > -0.2 then ... Thanks...
  9. Updated from 3.2.5 - no issues. Thanks.
  10. Upgraded from 3.2.4 - so far so good. No issues.
  11. Updated from 3.2.3 - no issues.
  12. Updated from 3.2.2 - no issues.
  13. Updated from 3.2.1 - no issues. I know it is not fully supported but.. The Orchestrator Dashboard is much more stable, able to work repeatedly now. Opening it still says "not found" then click OK, it finds my ISY and loads successfully.
  14. FIOS changes my IP address every so-often, one period I had at least three address changes in one month. I got a dyn-dns URL, no more issues. dyndns.org, $20 per year.
  15. Upgraded from 3.1.17 - no issues so far. Thanks!
  16. The RemoteLincs still are not working - even after a restore attempt. They appear to link fine, the status of the RL button changes in the ISY and the scene they control status changes - but nothing happens to the actual light(s). I cleared and re-added one button to a scene and now that works like it should. It looks like I will need to clear and relink all my two RL buttons. ----------------------- Update: Deleted and relinked 2 RL's, then re added all buttons to scene's, all is working now on 3.1.17
  17. Yes, thanks. I was going to try that - and see how it goes. I'll update as soon as I can do that. -------------- Update: Re-linking the RemoteLincs did not work. The ISY console flashed and did not perform a "normal" re-link process. I had just relinked these both recently and it usually takes about 2 minutes. I am reverting back to 3.1.17 Well, 3.1.17 also would not let me relink the RemoteLincs. I will try to remove and add from scratch.
  18. I updated from 3.1.17 and see all my programs - but both my RemoteLinc remotes are getting "cannot communicate" errors. At this time neither Remotelinc is usable.
  19. I did some more testing and observing, after re-linking the RemoteLincs and have not seen the problem again. The RL buttons show whatever % status but the devices themselves now show accurate status. Thank you,
  20. Sorry for the delay. I did some testing and could not reproduce on another device. So I relinked the Remotelincs, as I suspect them as a cause of the issue, and will see if that helps. I will post an update as soon as I have some firm conclusions. Thanks...
  21. It is a regular Remotelinc, 2440 V.00
  22. The error log for Feb. is below. I will dim the lamp and the ISY will show the Remotlinc Button status correctly - for example R1.2 at 25%. I have some programs that automatically dim the lamp, to 15%. Then if I use the RemoteLinc all lights off button the lamp will shut off but the button will still show 25% and the lamp 15%. If I do a query the lamp will correctly show 0, query does not change the button status. 23. Michael - Thanks for the reply. The device, a lamp on a Lamplinc, is part of a scene, even though I am turning it off by the "All Lights Off" button on the Remotelinc and not by the scene it is a member of. The incorrect status happens nearly every day. I have attempted to compensate for it by doing a scheduled query overnight.
  24. Yes, I looked up the procedure in the Wiki and followed it. It worked first time.
  25. The size of the SD card should not affect speed - but the "generation" of the card can. I upgraded my SD card a while back (a very easy process) to a newer 4GB card. I did not need the space but I did notice a slight general improvement in access times. On the other hand if you have the network module and run a web site off the ISY you may benefit from the additional space also.
