  1. apnar, When I try the recreation I get the following. [admin@eisy ~]$ sudo gpart destroy -F nvd0 gpart: arg0 'nvd0': Invalid argument [admin@eisy ~]$ sudo gpart create -s nvd0 gpart: Invalid number of arguments. [admin@eisy ~]$. I will go back over everything again and see where I messed up. Thank you for your help. This is fun! Walt N
  2. Good morning sudo gpart show nvd0 gpart: No such geom: nvd0. sudo dmesg | grep nv GEOM: nvd0: the primary GPT table is corrupt or invalid. GEOM: nvd0: using the secondary instead -- recovery strongly advised. This was the last two lines of about 1.5 screens of text. I did not want to over load my reply. I will be happy to post more of it if necessary. Thanks for your attention. Walt N
  3. Hello, When I run sudo fl.ops setup.nvme boot I get the following response. executing from /usr/local/etc/udx.d/static gpart: No such geom: nvd0. nvme0: WD Blue SN580 1TB nvme0ns1 (953869MB) gpart: No such geom: nvd0. Mon Mar 11 15:18:15 PDT 2024|/usr/local/etc/udx.d/static/fl.ops: adding GPT partition to nvd0 ... gpart: geom 'nvd0': Operation not permitted Mon Mar 11 15:18:15 PDT 2024|/usr/local/etc/udx.d/static/fl.ops: error: failed creating gpt partition ... I did use the "SIMPLE" take over the whole disk method. All of the steps prior to "sudo fl.ops setup.nvme boot" seemed to complete correctly. I'm thinking that I need to delete the first ZSF pool that I created on nvme0 and start over. I only know enough to be dangerous! Any advise will be appreciated. Walt N
  4. DennisC I was trying to renew on my smart phone ud mobile. I was able to renew using isy portal just now. Thanks for your response. Walt N
  5. I am having difficulty renewing my isy portal license. I upgraded to eisy, signed up for 30 day trial. It has now expired and I would like to renew the subscription. When I try to renew it my, it puts a red box around my email and does not allow the process to continue. I Would also like to say that I am very happy with the eisy upgrade. It is a nice looking device that I will likely never use to its fullest potential. The process went smoothly , the only problems were some that I created. All of my programs and network resources migrated over from isy994 backup and continue to work flawlessly. Thanks for a great product. Walt N
  6. Michel, I upgraded the Zigbee firmware, and have tried to re provision my device with pge several times. So far have not had any luck. Today I installed 4.2.28 and was happy to see the changes. I saw the new “Advanced Smart meter Configuration” and “Soft reset” require passwords that I do not have. Is there a place to learn more about this? I did read the warning text; I think I may fall into that category. The install code is correct with pge’s new “Stream my Data Dashboard”. My ISY dashboard indicates “Scanning and Scan complete” The summary does not change. The extended pan id box is blank. Pge’s web site does allow for configuration of your own device with out having to call, however once a device’s EUID is in place you can’t start over from scratch. Any other ideas will be greatly appreciated. This smart meter thing is disappointing however I remain extremely satisfied with my Isy device.
  7. Hi Michel and GuitarBuilder The dashboard indicates scanning, joining, down. The Pan Id is usually available but sometimes not. The channel shows 0 usually; sometimes it will indicate 25 as it did when it was working. I have been trying to reconnect on the PGE web page without any luck. I just spoke with Han support. Aileena (hope spelling is correct) was very helpful. She turned the meter radio off and restarted it. Tried to ping the Isy numerous times. We also tried a new install code, she did ask for a 16-bit code. She indicated that she has had some experience with this device. She did tell me that other ISY folks with a similar issue had to re-flash the device and then it worked. My current software is 4.2.22. Would upgrading Zigbee firmware be a good idea? Thanks for listening Walt N
  8. Hi Michel Ok then, I will give it a try. Thanks
  9. Hello My smart meter has stopped communicating with ISY Dashboard. My electricity box indicates scanning and scan complete. I have been upgrading on a regular basis and did notice this issue some time back. I am interested now because of the new summary section. In the provision the meter box I tried setting the extended pan id to 0000 and clicking on binoculars, the search return with no available pans. It looks to me like my Isy can’t see the meter. Any ideas? Thank you Walt N
  10. MICHEL, Just spoke with Vicky, she will be happy to have a three way conference call. She works Tue-Sat. Let me know what works for you and I will make it happen. Walt N
  11. Michel, I will try to set up a phone meeting. Will be in touch soon. Walt
  12. Michel, Yes, I am still seeing SCANNING, JOINING, DOWN. No Worries, I'm having fun. Thank you Walt N
  13. Michel, Made it home to see if it would pair, no luck. Contacted PGE HAN support and recieved a call back at work. We checked euid (mac address as they call it) and install code and both were correct. At first they indicated there was still an error message relating to key length. They called back about 1hr later, and indicated that they had re-installed the mac address and install code. From what they could tell it looks like it should work. Got home to the same results. I have some ideas that I plan to try but am out of time this evening. Better get to work with the domestic stuff or I will be looking for a new home. PGE HAN team is working with me, I can tell they want this to work. I will post contact names and phone numbers after I get the ok from them. Thank you Walt N P.S. every other aspect if this unit is working FLAWLESSLY! My recommendation is to just buy one!
  14. Hi all, GOOD NEWS FLASH. I just got a call back from PGE HAN supervisor. She used the longer install code that Michel help me generate with the 4.0.3 update (THANK YOU AGAIN!!!) and says she believes it is going to work. In any case it's working on her end. As soon as I can get out of work, I will run home and see for myself. Walt N
  15. Thanks Michel and TJF1960 I am making progress. First step was to fill out the online info pages that TJF1960 hooked me up with. After that I quickly received an acceptance email that included a link with instructions to input install code and euid. Then quickly received a final email that indicated my HAN eligibility code with instructions on how to activate the meter and pair the HAN device (ISY). The pairing amounted to making a phone call and exchanging eligibility code and euid. The people on the phone were interested, helpful, and friendly. My first attempt at pairing did not work out. The Extended Pan ID remained blank and a search for the SMART METER did not return any results. We tried the process a second time with same results. They were extremely helpful and would have tried a third time but I decided to call back after moving ISY closer to the SMART METER. It is now on the inside wall directly behind the wooden doghouse that the SMART METER is in. Last night I called the HAN activation number again for a second attempt. Again the pairing seems to have failed. The meter does not show up in Extended Pan Id and none is found using search. They report that the pairing was successful as far as they can tell. There are some other things I have noticed. When I reboot the ISY with enabled checked, the My energy box pops up with Status Network Down. If I open the Provision box and uncheck the enabled, closing the provision window causes some cropped text to show up in the time spot, and the meter indicator to say ok. None of the summary items update. I have been looking for Status Network Scanning and have not seen it. Looks like I have managed to screw something up. What does network down indicate, is there a way to restart it? I have tried restoring the original back up I made, along with pulling the power supply for a short time. No change. All other aspects of the ISY and my network seem to be working correctly. Any Ideas? Walt Nehse I love my ISY
