This morning I looked and saw eisy UI 1.3.8 was available so I went for it. After the upgrade and reboot, I still found the next run time statements were advanced by 2 hours. I changed the start times in a programs "if statements" IE: 2 hours earlier, and then the next run time statement was correct in the EISY display. I gave it a shot. When I checked this evening, the programs were actually running two hours earlier than the next run time indicated, exactly the time I requested in the programs "if Statement". So at this point it is my conclusion that the next run time statement for whatever reason is advanced by 2 hours and does not make a difference. The program will actually run at the time stated in the programs "if statement" (I think?). Since I was home before sunset, I did try a sunset trigger in a program's "if statement" and it did appear to work correctly. So far everything else seems to be working correctly. Thank you ALL!

I did see the staging repository with attached request from UDI "Please do not use the Staging repo unless requested by UDI Support." They said please, so I elected not to go there. I wouldn't want to create any additional problems for UDI or myself. I'm happy to wait unless someone from UDI tells me to go for it. Thank you all!

Speaking of "next scheduled run". I was believing that a reboot was correcting my program issues. As it turns out not exactly. I did temporarily move away from "sunset and sunrise " triggers and use fixed times in all of my programs. What I have discovered is that the run time in my "if statements" and the "next scheduled run time" listed in "Programs>Summarys" are not the same. The "next scheduled run times" are two hours later than my "if statements". If I edit and save a program, the next scheduled run time will be correct for one day. I am at IOX 6.1.2_3 using beta repo. I see that some are using 6.1.2_6. How were you able to get it? Thank you all!

Good morning, For what it's worth. I am not using the ring plugin, but I do find myself having to reboot EISY-UI daily to keep my programs running. I believe that my issue is related to UD moving away from IOX and Java. I have started to use EISY-UI with the understanding that it is still a work in progress; problems are a "FEATURE". I have noticed that after reboot a program's next runtime looks good, then after that program event occurs, it's next runtime is out of whack or non existant. Again, after a reboot, the next run time is correct. I am using the beta versions and enjoy looking daily for newer versions. I believe that my issues will clear up in time. Hopefully you will benefit as well. I was comfortable with IOX, but the more I use EISY-UI the more I like it. After this issue clears, I will look into the ring plugin. Best of luck!

Presently UI 1.3.6 has not corrected this minor issue for me. I have a group of sunset related programs behaving oddly unless I reboot every day. Some of involve instion, others zwave. I am confident that this issue will be resolved with future updates. Good Times! Thank you all!

For what it's worth, I have also discovered that programs where sunset is used will run for one night after eisy reboot. They will not run the next night unless I reboot eisy. To mitigate this situation, I am currently rebooting once a day and then checking for updates!

@Mav2019 It sounds like you need to wake the motion detector up and then query it at the IOX. Another issue that I have had is that if it is a model with a 9 v battery, the connector may require re-tensioning. The connectors get bent out of shape when the battery is removed. I have replaced the batteries in all of my instion motion detectors with external power supplies because I got tired of the battery issues. I have had better luck with ZOOZ motion detectors, their batteries seem to last a long time. Congratulations on the new house and ISY. Enjoy the learning curve, it is definitely worth it in my opinion.

My Eisy-ui sent me down the same rabbit hole. After making a mess of things, I decided to not pay any more attention to it. Presently all of my programs seem to be running on time. I also notice that the last run times and finish times are out of whack and some programs that I know ran are not posting any last run times. I believe that a future upgrade is going to correct this issue. I like Eisy-ui and am looking forward to using it exclusively.

danncas My experience with Zwave has always been interesting and mostly successful. The instructions that are given are hard to read but all the information should be there. As Techman indicated, put the sensor in linking mode and all of those green 1011 arrows should go away. After you do that, look at the instructions that came with the device and start to experiment. After you introduce the parameters you query the device and they should take effect. I think that I may have had to manually put the device back in link mode for the parameters to take hold. Zwave devices all are supposed to adhere to a standard and I believe that I was able to get more useful online from Zooz , It is as always a GREAT IDEA to backup everything prior to making any new additions or changes. Zwave is worth the effort in my opinion. I started using it do deal intermittent instion issues, so far I am happy. Best of luck

Good morning sudo gpart show nvd0 gpart: No such geom: nvd0. sudo dmesg | grep nv GEOM: nvd0: the primary GPT table is corrupt or invalid. GEOM: nvd0: using the secondary instead -- recovery strongly advised. This was the last two lines of about 1.5 screens of text. I did not want to over load my reply. Hello, When I run sudo fl.ops setup.nvme boot I get the following response. executing from /usr/local/etc/udx.d/static gpart: No such geom: nvd0. nvme0: WD Blue SN580 1TB nvme0ns1 (953869MB) gpart: No such geom: nvd0. Mon Mar 11 15:18:15 PDT 2024|/usr/local/etc/udx.d/static/fl.ops: adding GPT partition to nvd0 ... gpart: geom 'nvd0': Operation not permitted Mon Mar 11 15:18:15 PDT 2024|/usr/local/etc/udx.d/static/fl.ops: error: failed creating gpt partition ... I did use the "SIMPLE" take over the whole disk method. All of the steps prior to "sudo fl.ops setup.nvme boot" seemed to complete correctly. I'm thinking that I need to delete the first ZSF pool that I created on nvme0 and start over. I only know enough to be dangerous! Any advise will be appreciated. Walt N

I am having difficulty renewing my isy portal license. I upgraded to eisy, signed up for 30 day trial. It has now expired and I would like to renew the subscription. When I try to renew it my, it puts a red box around my email and does not allow the process to continue. I Would also like to say that I am very happy with the eisy upgrade. It is a nice looking device that I will likely never use to its fullest potential. The process went smoothly , the only problems were some that I created. All of my programs and network resources migrated over from isy994 backup and continue to work flawlessly. Thanks for a great product. Walt N

Michel, I upgraded the Zigbee firmware, and have tried to re provision my device with pge several times. So far have not had any luck. Today I installed 4.2.28 and was happy to see the changes. I saw the new “Advanced Smart meter Configuration” and “Soft reset” require passwords that I do not have. Is there a place to learn more about this? I did read the warning text; I think I may fall into that category. The install code is correct with pge’s new “Stream my Data Dashboard”. My ISY dashboard indicates “Scanning and Scan complete” The summary does not change. The extended pan id box is blank. Pge’s web site does allow for configuration of your own device with out having to call, however once a device’s EUID is in place you can’t start over from scratch. Any other ideas will be greatly appreciated. This smart meter thing is disappointing however I remain extremely satisfied with my Isy device.
