Is it ok to share ISY port with other devices?
My ISY is using the default ports 80 for HTTP and 443 for SSL. That said, I also have another device WIFI-IR to control all of my AV equipment which also uses port 80. Is this practice ok, or should I change the ISY HTTP port to one which isn't in use? Thank you, Chuck

Question about ISY firmware upgrades
I'm confused. I originally installed the first version and then assumed I installed the wrong one so I installed the second version. Both seem to work and control my Insteon devices just fine... I have an ISY994iZW/IR PRO. Should I reinstall the first version? Thanks, Chuck

Question about ISY firmware upgrades
I was referring to the two different file versions available for the same firmware not the difference between beta vs final versions. I'm just curious what's different between the two. Example: v4.3.26 (RC8) ISY 994i Series including Z-Wave Support ISY 994i ZW, Z, or ZS Series (Z-Wave/Zigbee and/or if you do NOT have a PLM)

Question about ISY firmware upgrades
I upgraded my ISY994 today and based on the directions there is supposed to be a way to automatically update ISY firmware from within the admin console, however the only means I see is using the manual method via downloading the firmware. Am I missing something? Also, I want to be sure I downloaded and installed the correct firmware. I have an ISY994iZW/IR PRO and there were two options. I chose the first, which I'm now thinking is the wrong one, however I didn't receive any errors. ISY 994i Series including Z-Wave Support ISY 994i ZW, Z, or ZS Series (Z-Wave/Zigbee and/or if you do NOT have a PLM) Thanks, Chuck

ISY-994 default mail settings
That's what I suspected Paul. Thanks for confirming. I set it up to use my ISP's outbound SMTP server and it appears to be working well. The biggest problem for me ironically is the long from email using the default ISY's settings as I receive ISY alerts on my Apple Watch and the long address takes up too much screen real estate. I wish we didn't need to use a from address at all...

ISY-994 default mail settings
After migrating to an ISY-994i from an ISY-99i backup, it seems the mail settings weren't retained from my backup. I'm curious to know which SMTP server the ISY-994i uses if the default settings is checked. Thanks, Chuck

Anyone know the default state of 2663-222 on/off outlet?
I just installed an Insteon 2663-222 On/Off outlet and it's working fantastic. That said, I'm curious what the default state is after a power failure as I've got my DVR equipment plugged into this outlet and would hate to think that after a power failure I would lose my ability to record if the default state is off. I checked the manual, however I didn't see any mention of this. I guess I could kill the circuit breaker and check it that way, but hate to disrupt all of my equipment if I can help it. Anyone know for certain?

Do I need to create a self signed certificate?
That makes sense. Unfortunately I can't yet figure out how to get into the dashboard versus the administrative council.

Do I need to create a self signed certificate?
Hello. I just upgraded from an ISY-99i to an ISY-994i and everything is working great. That said, I'm a MobiLinc user and wondered if I need to create a certificate on the new 994i? I also want to be sure I'm secure in the event I need to access my ISY remotely via https. Is the default certificate adequate or should I create a self signed one? Thanks so much, Chuck

OOPS I deleted "Query All" by mistake
Would it make sense to run this program more often than just once/day?

OOPS I deleted "Query All" by mistake
I'm confused as to what the purpose of this query program is? I'm about to migrate from an ISY-99 to a 994 and I see in the directions to be sure and point the query all program to point to the main scene. I've attached a screenshot of my ISY main page. I appreciate any clarification, Chuck

SSL Error, can't connect over https
I generally access my ISY-99i using MobiLinc from my iPhone/iPad via https and have been doing so for years without issue. This weekend I upgraded from iOS 8.4.1 to iOS 9 public beta 3 and all of a sudden MobiLinc can no longer connect via https and produces the following error message (screenshot attached below). I've had to temporarily open up an http external ports in order to access my ISY which of course makes me very uncomfortable due to security risks. I tried to take a look at my SSL certificate to see if perhaps it had expired however I can no longer access that since the ISY-99i has been discontinued and certificate creation no longer functions. Any ideas of what might be going on here. It definitely has something to do with iOS 9 but I can't understand why since MobiLinc isn't a native app, what would have changed?

Why does this program execute after rebooting ISY?
Yep, unchecking this did the trick! Thanks so much for the suggestion as I completely forgot about it...

Why does this program execute after rebooting ISY?
$iphone is a state variable. The init value is 1. Changes are reported to the ISY via MobiLinc's iPhone geofence feature. 1 means within geofence, 0 means outside of geofence. If you notice both programs utilize the exact same variable in the if statement. The only difference is the second program incorporates an additional if statement based on time of day. So I would think the variable cancels out but for some reason the ISY upon rebooting is executing the program which incorporates the condition based on time of day. Just seems odd...

Why does this program execute after rebooting ISY?
I have two very similar programs which I created to turn my TV and sound bar on. They both use a variable set by a geofence. The first program turns my TV on/off when I come and go. The second program simply turns my TV on at 9:00AM every morning assuming I'm home. For some reason, the program which is set to trigger at 9:00 am always executes upon rebooting my ISY (assuming I'm within the geofence - 1 means home) or say after a power failure, yet the other launches only when the variable changes accordingly. I have attached screenshots of the programs, any ideas?

I was trying to purchase the Weather Bug module for my ISY-99i today, however it doesn't show as available to purchase. Can we no longer purchase add on modules for the ISY-99i?
