  1. Thanks for the reply. One additional question - shouldn't be the initialization of $i.InternetTest outside of the Repeat program? Otherwise, "Else Statement" of CheckInternetTest will be executed every 30 minutes? Let me know if I read the program incorrectly. Thanks.
  2. Hi, Would you be able to share your C# ASP.Net project? Would it work on Ubuntu server? Thanks.
  3. Hi, Just to get clarification. Is this program running 24x7 every 30 minutes? Will this not tax ISY? And with regard to variable "InternetTestEnabled". Is this used only to initiate the program? How is it being initiated. Thanks.
  4. Thanks io_guy. TCP commands work like a charm. I have now a way to turn on the my AVR if someone is in the room. I have 1 more question - i hope you dont mind. I would like to check the status of the AVR if it is "on". This program is providing me with the feedback. However, how do I capture it on ISY so that if the AVR is already "on", the ON_AVR_Program will not be executed anymore. Again, thanks.
  5. As per Yamaha command list: PWR [PUT Command] @MAIN:PWR=Parameter [GET Command] @MAIN:PWR=? or @SYS:PWR=? Operating & retrieving Power state of Main Zone Initial Auto Feedback is Available [Parameters] Standby PUT: turining its state to Standby / GET: indicating Standby status. On PUT: turining its state to On / GET: indicating On status. On/Standby PUT Only: toggling its status between On/Standby Thus, I have revised the code below but it is still not responding (Either @SYS or @MAIN). Any assistance on where I am doing it incorrectly will help. Thanks.
  6. Thanks io_guy I have revised the codes as per your suggestion. I am getting"ok" response from the av receiver. However, it seemed that it is not responding accordingly. In this example, the AVR did not turn off. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.
  7. Thanks for the feedback. I tried removing User-Agent, as per below. Both with and without user-agent, the 1st attachment is the error message I am getting. Thanks.
  8. Thank you. However, please pardon my ignorance with regard to the Network Module details. Please let me know if I am doing this correctly since I am getting an error message. Thanks in advance.
  9. Hi, I have a Yamaha AV Receiver as well. Would be glad to see the actual code too. Thanks in advance.
  10. Hi, Currently, I have a 3-way switch, but I am planning only to replace 1 with Insteon switch. Is this possible or do I need to disconnect the other 2 switches and enable the Insteon switch. Thanks.
  11. Hi, I got "I/O Linc - INSTEON to Somfy RF Drape Control Kit" and was able to link to ISY994i. My Somfy controller RF has a remote controller (Somfy 74300 Telis 1 RTS). I followed this instruction: Installation 1) The following wires should already be connected from the Somfy Dry Contact Interface to the I/O Linc terminals. Confirm the wires are connected and reconnect any wires as needed: a. Thick bundle: • Black to N/C • White to N/O b. Thin bundle: • Black to GND • Red to 5V NOTE: During the programming of the Somfy shades, be sure the green wire is disconnected (you will connect the green wire to I/O Linc as the last step). 2) Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the gray Somfy Interface lid 3) Plug I/O Linc into an unswitched AC outlet (within 65 feet of the Somfy drapes for the best radio frequency (RF) communication results) The I/O Linc Status LED will turn on and blink dimly depending on INSTEON traffic 4) Reference the Somfy Interface Operating Instructions to program the unit 5) Use pliers to connect the Somfy Interface’s green wire to the I/O Linc COM terminal (see Diagram 1 on the next page) My question is with regard to Step 4, what do I need to program on Somfy Interface? Is this referring to the physical controller connected to my window shades? What should I program here? (Note: My Somy Contoller was installed in a very high place ) I called smarthome but the help desk was NOT accommodating at all. Appreciate your assistance guys. Thanks.
  12. The power outage issue is a compelling reason not to use wait, Lee. I am currently using a EZFlora wherein program has a "wait" of 24 hours due to rain (a variable to flagged to 1 as well) What do you think is the best way to use a "program" and execute it after 24 hours (instead of wait), only if the conditions are met. Thanks.
  13. Any progress on Venstar T5800/6800? Thanks.
  14. Hi, After rebooting ISY - Water leak sensor has a blank state. I have to press the button to activate it. However, I see it as a problem when there a power failure and ISY reboots and it no one is home. Will the water leak senson still detect water presence if state is blank?
  15. I would love to connect my Venstar 6800 to ISY as well. I hope there's a workaround at the moment.
  16. Got it. Thanks.
  17. Yes, I understand that 100% means ON. However, in the older FW, one can select ON, OFF, xx%. So this is now by design, correct.
  18. Also it is the same case for 2876DB Icon Dimmer v.39.
  19. I have a controlinc (2430) v.00. When I upgraded to FW 4.0.3, there's no option now to select "ON" for the status. Please see attached. Is this a bug or by design? Thanks.
  20. We have been heavily using ISY voice in our configuration using Networking Module, be it announcement that a specific door is open or not, weather information in the morning, and so on. I have used the following as a reference. viewtopic.php?f=48&t=8205 One of the programs I am thinking of is an annoucement, as suggested by my wife, to alert us that laundy is completed. In line with this, I would like to know if there is a way to connect a washing machine to an ISY? Will an I/O Linc work for this? If yes, what is the best way to connect it. Appreciate other suggestions. Thanks.
