I rebooted the modem, router, PLM and the ISY and now http://www.universal-devices.com/99i works so I went to Help - about and the ISY IP has changed again. I then changed my url to reflect the new Ip address and it worked. So I'm connected. I'm just wondering how to get it to not do this again. Do I need to set it to a static IP address? If so what are the pros and cons of doing this? Thanks!

Yeah the ISY IP address as show in my router's DHCP list is different than it was yesterday. If I know the ISY's IP address then why would I try the ones close to it? I didn't configure the ISY to a static IP address should I have?

I can't find the IP assigned to the ISY. I can't get into admin console so I can't go to help - about. How do I get ISYs IP addy?

The router says it is currently set up for "a dynamic IP (via DHCP)" Does that help? Is that good?

I just tried going to http://www.universal-devices.com/99i. The Admin Console did appear but an error came up saying, "XML Parse Error IP/desc". The thing is that IP is only one number off from my IP I was using yesterday. I hope this help determine what the problem is. Thanks!

I just tried rebooting my computer, the PLM and the ISY9941. I was hoping that would help but it didn't. I do remember yesterday while rebooting my computer a window popped up that said something about a conflicting IP address. Not sure if that has anything to do with this or not.

Does anyone know if there is a way to take an underwater temperature and get a reading on mobilinc or the ISY994i? I would love to be able to monitor my pond's water temp and possibly use it to set an alarm or program with that info. How do I do this? Thanks!

Yesterday I set up the ISY9941 and an access point with a lamplinc. I got everything running and even ran my first program. With lots of help from this forum everything was running smoothly. SO today I go to my bookmarked link "my ip/admin" and Google Chrome is giving me the following error, "Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to my ip". I'm not sure what has happened. I went from everything running flawlessly to not being able to connect. Nothing has changed so I'm confused. ANy ideas what happened? BTW, I'm running 3.2.6 Thanks!

Do I need to change my first program such that the lights turn off at 9:59? If not, it seems like both programs would be running at the same time after 10PM...one telling it to run at 100% and one telling it to run at 50%. What am I missing?

I'm trying to turn my landscape lights on 30 minutes before sunset and have then turn off at a certain time. But I want them to dim from 100% to 50% at 10PM. This is what I have so far... If On Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu From Sunset - 30 minutes To 10:30:00PM (same day) Or On Sat, Fri From Sunset - 30 minutes To 1:00:00AM (next day) Then Set '05.D0.EB.1' On Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') What do I need to add to get then to dim at 10PM??? Thanks!
  17. That worked! So how often do I need Query Insteon Engine? Thanks! BTW, It's a 2456D3.

  19. How do I get to "My lighting tree"?
  20. I just have the device ramp rate set at 4 min then created a program to turn the lights on at a certain time expecting them to ramp up as they came on but they didn't. So I have to create a "scene" to do this?
  21. I have the Lamplinc V2 controlling my landscape lights. I cen get them to turn on, fade on, and turn off but it wont ramp the lights on for some reason. I'm running 3.2.6 and it's just ignoring the ramp rat in my program. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!
