How can I program my thermostat to cool every other Thursday? My cleaning lady comes every other Thursday and I need it to stay cool that day. The other weekdays we let it heat up since we are both at work. Thanks!

I soldered the C32 or C35 (I forget which one it was) together like others suggested.

Well I soldered the back of the board to disable the humidity values being sent to my ISY. The only problem is now the green background light and all the buttons stay lit 24/7. They wont turn off. Any ideas on how to solve this?

BTW, I have ISY 994i version 3.2.6

I bought the wetherbug and irrigation modules but when I install them I get an error that says, "NTP Server DNS Error" and "TCP Client DNS Error". How do I fix those errors?

Guys, my Venstar 1700 will tell me when I need to replace my HVAC filter. Is there a way to get this info sent to the ISY so it can send me a text to change the filter? Speaking of filters, what do you guys use to replace your filter...how many hours? Also can we change the setpoint swing or number of time per hour the system will run via the SIY and or mobilinc? ie. If I'm not home I could set it to be more cost efficient since I don't care as much about being comfortable. Thanks!

Oh ok. My goal is to put a mobilinc widget on my wifes phone so she can hit a button to turn both the lamp and the stat on a desired setting then when she leaves that room she can touch a button (the same button or different) to change the setpoint back to its original condition and turn the lamp off. The widget can be set up as a device, scene or program. I'm not sure the best way to do this. I guess I could create 2 scenes and have 2 widgets on her phone. One to turn things to the desired setting when she enters the room and the other to turn the devices to another setting (setpoint on the stat to an energy saving setpoint). This may not always be optimum though. Could I use a program to do this all in one widget that actually records the setpoint of the stat then returns it to that set point somehow when she taps the program widget? Thanks!

Ok I just recreated the scene and for some reason it seems to work now but when I turn the scene off the lamp goes back to the condition before the scene was activated but the stat does not. So basically when you turn the scene on the stat changes but doesn't change back once the scene is turned off. How do I get the stat to go back to the setpoint like it was before the scene was turned on?? Thanks!

If they can't be linked outside the ISY then how do I get them to turn off when the other one is changed locally? Can I make them a responder to one another within ISY?

So in Mobilinc I can control all my devices under "my devices" but for this one light I will have to back out of devices and go into scenes to control it? If so that sucks!

I have a scene such that when my wive goes upstairs to watch TV the scene activates a lamp (dimmable outletlinc) and it adjusts the thermostat (Venstar T1700). The problem is the Venstar doesn't adjust. This is my first created scene so I may have done something wrong. I have both devices added to the scene and have the Venstar setpoint adjusted under the scene. When I activate the scene the lamp turns on but the setpoint on the stat doesn't change. I have tried it with both set to be responders and with the lamp as a controller and the stat at a responder. Neither worked the stat. Any ideas? Thanks!

Ok I have two switchlincs connected for use as 3 way switches. I have them linked so when one turns on/off the other one reacts and changes to the same state. So now how do I control them with ISY? When I change one of the 3way switchlincs in the admin console it turns that switchlinc to the desired setting but not the other one in the 3 way configuration. How do I get the ISY to change the setting on both 3 way switchlincs when I only change the setting on one (either) of the switchlincs in ISY. So they act correctly when changing the state locally but not in ISY. Thanks!

I do not have a jumper for humidity. I guess I'll have to solder the no humidity buttons together...is that correct?

I'll check this out when I get home from work. Yeah the 1700 I ordered has the insreon module inside the stat and not as an external add on.
