Also, some of the devices that give me this error are only reading 1 Hops left and those devoces have consistantly given me hope left = 2 for a long time. It's like I lost a hop somewhere.
-
I have been getting this a lot over the last couple days for several devices that was working great. I'm also getting, "Process Message: Ignored". The devices that give me these messages are both dual band (RF) and non dual band.
-
I do have communication issues with some devices that have these errors. Not sure I understand you second thought.

I'm having more communication issues. Check out the error log below. The Hops left is 2 witch is good so what is going on? What does, "Received an ACK for a different device" mean? Thanks!

This is just another hot water heater instead of your current tankless. No this is a point of use instant water heater. I think I could put it under my sink so there is no little under sink tank to keep warm. Would this work?
-
I unplugged it and it didn't help.
-
Thanks! I didn't have anything in the body!
-
I just realized I posted the question in the wrong forum. Can someone move it to the Q and A forum? Thanks!

What about something like this... http://www.amazon.com/Rheem-RTE-13-Electric-Tankless/dp/B003UHUSGQ/ref=pd_sim_hi_3

Hello, I have a tankless/instant natural gas water heater located on the outside of my house close to the master bath. The issue is it takes forever to get hot water to the kitchen sink and other bathrooms. What solutions are available to this issue? I would like to control it with my ISY to minimize costs. Thanks!

I was getting a text from a program but then deleted the text part of the program. So I'm pretty sure I have the text set up correctly in the configurations tab. With that said the following program is not sending me a text and was wondering if anyone knew what I was doing wrong... If Time is Sunset - 30 minutes And Status 'Kristen's Garage - Sensor' is Off Then Send Notification to 'My text' content 'Kristen's Garage Door' Wait 5 minutes Set 'Kristen's Garage - Relay' On Else - No Actions - (To add one, press 'Action') I tested the program tonight by leaving the garage door open and this program did close it but it didn't send me a text and I'm not sure if it waited 5 minutes. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!

On Mobilinc I was able to change the On to Closed and the Off to Open. Is there a way to do something similar in the Admin Console?
-
Which other pair of wires on the magnetic switch? Thanks!
-
I got it now. One more question... When my garage door is closed the sensor says, "on". WHen the door is open the sensor says, "off". How can I reverse that?
-
I'm thinking this is it. I'm going to leave the breaker off until I run across something that wont turn on. Then it will be obvious that the Jacuzzi breaker controls that device and that device is the problem.
-
I have the garage door control and status kit installed and have followed the directions. I have it set to momentary C. I can use the "on" button in the Admin Console to open, stop, and close the door. So it works like a garage door remote. With that said how do I know via the admin console if the door is open or closed? I'm not getting the status. The "off" button in the Admin Console does nothing. What am I doing wrong?

They dont have motion detectors. One switch is for outdoor incandescent candelabras and the other switch is for two outdoor CFL down lights. I have turned both switches off when I turn the breaker on. As soon as I turn the breaker on the communication goes from hops left = 2 to unable to communicate with an Appliancelinc.

Ok. I need something to filter my laptop but really don't want to use a wall wart were the laptop os located. I'm looking for ideas. Thanks! BTW, I have everything working great but I'm having to keep a GFCI breaker off because when I turn it on my communication to a device goes bad. The problem is I can't find the problem. The breaker is for a built in bathroom Jacuzzi. I have completely unplugged the Jacuzzi and it doesn't help. I don't know of anything else to unplug. It does connect to a couple outside lights and a couple more indoor outlets but nothing is plugged into those. Any ideas?

-When you are testing with the event viewer on level 3 is it ok to just hit off over and over instead of rotating between off, on, fast off and fast on? -What filter options are available that work good other than wall warts? Thanks!

What does it mean when a device has a green arrow with "1011" on it on the left hand side of the "Main" tab. Thanks!

The admin console had only been running for about 30 minutes. I have not changed the state of the appliancelinc at the appliancelinc locally. I have only changed the state on my laptop in the Admin Console. When I do this I can hear the appliancelinc click on and off but the ISY doesn't reflect a change (about half of the time). It does show in the Event viewer but only 2 lines (I think) and it doesnt not show an error nor does it show the hops. Thanks for you help!
-
I unplugged the appliancelinc. The current state is only blank for that device.
-
I didn't lose phase coupling because the appliancelinc was turning on and off but not registering on the ISY. There was nothing to cycle on and off to cause the interference on the ISY or appliancelinc breaker. I think something is wrong with the ISY, or PLM. It does weird things at times. I'm always diagnosing problems.

Boy am I getting frustrated. Sometimes I wonder if all this time, effort, and money is worth it. I turned all the breakers off except the one for my ISY and the appliancelinc. Everything was perfect (Max Hops =3 and Hops Left = 2). I slowly turned breakers on and tested. If the Hops left went below 2, I left that breaker off and moved on. Eventually I finished. I then took a picture of the breaker alignment. I had a few breakers (problem breakers I'll call them) that were left off. Then I was going to go breaker by breaker unplugging things until I had all the breakers on but with something unplugged from each breaker. In theory I would be left with a few things unplugged and all breakers on and max hops still at 2. So I turned the 1st problem breaker on and started unplugging things one by one. As I did this I lost all control of the appliancelinc. I wasn't even getting a max or hops left reading. I then turned that breaker back off. The problem continued. I was shocked...I was just getting a max hops of 2 in this exact same configuration. Since I had a picture of the breaker alignment and problem breakers I decided to start turning the non problem breakers back off until the issue was resolved. I ended up turning them all off except the one for my ISY and my Appliance linc and still no control of the appliancelinc I rebooted the ISY and the current state for the applianclinc was blank. I could hear the applianclinc turn on and off put was getting no hops reading and the current state remained blank. I then decided to turn all the breakers on since I can't leave them all off for days or until I get the issue resolved. Now all the breakers are on and the other devices work fine. The current state for the applianclinc reads off and I can't turn it on or off. This is frustrating!!! Any ideas?

Is it best to just start turning breakers off? I could test using the event log then turn a breaker off. Test again. Turn another breaker off. Test again. Continue that until I consistently get Max Hops 3 and Hops Left 2. Is that the best way to find out what is causing the problem?
