  1. I found this on WIKI, unbelievable! Java remover doesn't run. Installed new java same problems. You can allow the app 100 times but it will not work. So unfortunate. All these years of dealing with super fragile UDI Jave interface I'm at my wits end. So sad. ***MAC OS Sequoia Users Please Read*** If you are using Mac OS Sequoia, and you can not find (even manually adding) your EISY in Admin Console, or it tries to connect and fails, please do the following: Background- Apple now has security for Local Networks. We have found that sometimes it lets connections work for a few minutes before security kicks on (probably a grace period). Once it kicks in, you may not be able to find and/or use AC. Workaround- Go to Oracle and download the JAVA uninstaller here: https://www.java.com/en/download/uninstalltool.jsp Uninstall JAVA and say yes to deleting the cache. Run the installer a second time to confirm your JAVA is gone. Then, immediately reinstall Java using this installer. https://www.java.com/en/download/ Then download the Start app from Universal Devices here: https://forum.universal-devices.com/topic/24381-iox-launcher/ Run start.jnlp Say Yes/OK to any prompts. Another security measure may stop you from loading start. In that case, go to System Settings/Privacy and Security. In that case, Go to System Settings | Privacy and Security In that case, look for something that says Mac OS has blocked an app from running. Click to allow the app. Then try Start.jnlp again Once the admin console is launched, you may not see your ISY. The first time, you might have to add it manually. Keep trying until you get a prompt popup that says allow _javaws (or IOXLauncher) to access devices on local network. VERY IMPORTANT that you say allow. Quit Admin Console. You can now verify that the issue is fixed by going to System Settings/Privacy and Security and scrolling down to Local Network. You should see what you just allowed (either _javaws there or IOX launcher). We are sorry this may be frustrating, but once you get it in the Local Network settings, it should work every time. At this point, there is no way to manually add the file to the local network. We have reported the issue to Apple in hopes that they fix it because it's tough to get some local devices to be seen.
  2. Hi, EISy v. 5.8.4 macbook pro Sequoia 15.0 I have not been able to get to my admin console for a couple weeks. I have read and read, tried everything. It seems Java will not run Start.jnlp. I have gone in security and ok'd to run I have got a new start.jnlp and tried opening with control open rebooting eisy and macbook and many many other things, everything I can find to try after days of reading. I can access through my.isy but I cant program there Anybody that can help me please? Also, how do you put in a ticket? thanks!
  3. This happened last time change. My system is showing incorrect sunrise and sunset times.
  4. Well thanks for the info, but I only have one account.
  5. I cant send it to a group, or im not sure how to do this.
  6. Did this, process went well. Still no new phone showing up
  7. Things are working nicely on my UD mobile, however, I added an additional phone and I cant get it to show on The UD mobile "Devices" section for notification settings. EISY, iOS phones. All devices up to date and working.
  8. This morning nothing ran. All my programs have been disabled. I didn't do this. What's going on?
  9. I did this, and it's the same. can only access IoX finder if the start is in the download folder. No changes to my situation. Possibly due to upgrade to OS Sonoma 14.0? Thanks for the help!
  10. Im trying to access admin console from my MacBook, which Ive done for years from an icon on my desktop, and I can only get the IoX finder to load if I move start.jnlp to the download folder and start it from finder by control clicking and choose open. Otherwise I get this: Caused by: java.io.FileNotFoundException: /Users/stevelittle/Desktop/start.jnlp (Operation not permitted) at java.io.FileInputStream.open0(Native Method) at java.io.FileInputStream.open(FileInputStream.java:195) at java.io.FileInputStream.<init>(FileInputStream.java:138) at java.io.FileInputStream.<init>(FileInputStream.java:93) at com.sun.javaws.jnl.LaunchDescFactory.buildDescriptor(Unknown Source) ... 5 more plus, I cant at all if my MacBook is not on the ethernet. Any tips?
  11. Im on a mac using eisy. I have PG3 installed and it works; that is I installed Open weather map and also AERIS weather and they both show up in the administration console. I had no problem configuring as described by the Wiki. However, there are no values in the spaces, only zeros and day of the week is Sunday. I have done my homework searching herein for a tip, but have not found the answer. Please offer help on this if you know how! Thanks.
  12. thanks for the info. My problem is your 1) nothing happens. I rebooted everything, system, computer and still nothing happens. I went back to my topic on this from last week and I set a new password. Still nothing. It's strange because just yesterday I was logging in, working in PG3, I installed the open weather, all this. now I just cant access it anymore.
  13. Welp thanks for the suggestions. I rebooted everything and now I cant even login to the PG3, just like I couldn't before. It seems I cant get anything to work here without hours and hours of trouble. I wondering if it's just me or if these systems just don't work that well. Anyway I guess I will try again tomorrow.
  14. I did create the account, got my API key, and updated the node server configuration. Do I need to create any parameters other than the ones you show here?
