Guys plz help me... I recently finished an installation in a house. First I installed all dimmers and relays and link them with two keypads. After all, I installed an ISY 994i and made it link to the two keypads and asked to add devices found, etc.... I have success linked with almost all devices instead of one... It is a In-LineLinc Dimmer 2475DA1 that doesn't responds... I really can't figure it out if it was a problem with the device, the PLM or the place where it is... It's locate on the same load wire with two identical devices that communicate fine... I tried to change with another 2475DA1 device and the same error... Really.. what could be happenning? The only thing I could imagine is that this is the only device I linked with another dimmer... This could be a problem to link with isy? Nevertheless.. I reseted the device and it still with problem... Any help plz... Maybe someone could help me plz with my earlier post?

I just started thinking about using an Insteon Thermostat and had some similar doubts: - Could the thermostat be used to control a convencional air conditioner like a split? Today I use an Globa Cache iTach to send the IR codes to it. Is it possible to make the Insteon thermostat control it, throught the ISY? - What are the REST commands that I could send/read in communication with the Thermostat? Is there any library?

Thanks guys for all the info... The reason that I need to do it on my own UI, is that I already have it to control my Insteon and global cache devices.. I just want to upgrade it with another screen with the camera streaming... I think I won't have problems with the controls, just with streaming... Gonna start my tests and see what happens..

Guys thanks for the info. I just bought a Foscam FI9821W V2 and starting to upgrade my UI to control and stream it. It looks like I have here all the info I need. Before I start it I have a doubt. Should I start it using the HTTP methods because it's easier and think about upgrade to PHP in the future, or it's better to go on PHP direction from the start?

Yes thats a true... I just send it to some friends to test it.. Now I changed the DNS name and ISY user and password... It's all mine.. lol...

Cool.. it worked. sorry about the delay... I tried ports 2500 and 2501 and ir worked easily... Now I'm going to try a free DDNS set up on my pc..

I'm another one waiting for your report and hoping that it works. I'm from Brazil and here we have a 60Hz powerline but some cities are 220V and I have just the same question. The ISY could be powered, ok, but, would the PLM work if powered from a 220/110V transformer? Maybe the powerline signal would be ruined but I have my trust on the RF signal. If I works it could be transmitted to a near device and then re-transmitted to the powerline. That would be great.

Michel My router has an option to enable UPnP. I keep this options checked... On Isy Administrative Console, it seems to work. It appears to be enabled, I saw the IP, but tried to connect from out of my network and just can't...

Is there anyway to check if the connection was really enabled on the router?

This was apparently the issue; thanks for the tip. If there is a way to disable this disagreeable behavior in my router, I can't find it. UD might consider warning people about this in their documentation. Not everyone is a network guru. YEP! that's my problem.. I'm not a network expert and just can't find where is the problem...

I have to say that Balok take the words from my mouth. I'm with the same problems. It seems that Isy was able to enable the internet access, everything seems fine but I just can't connect and don't know where to look. I just have a message on the browser saying that can't establish a connection and I stopped there. I read that could be done using a DDNS or a RaspberryPI but, if ISY had that option, why didn't work?

Thanks for the info I'll see that. I've never used a RaspberryPI and I feel like a dumb when I saw everyone here talking about it... About the Router, I saw some people setting its DNS using TelNET access as long as at that level, they could set the Thomson to work with other DNS servers.. I'll try that and hope it don't crash the router. Gonna buy a RaspberryPI and learn how to work with if while there's time.

My router is a Thomson model DWG874. I just use it because is a modem/router given by the provider. I just check into it's configuration and it has a DDNS support but I just can select the dyndns.org service and as I saw, it's paid. Right?

Just to know, which sensor is? Used to check if the controlled equipment was turn on already? In last case you can think about using a wireless insteon sensor.

Hello guys... Does anyone has notices of a Web UI that shows a IP Cam Video Streaming? I think that the original UI don't have it and I'm going to try it on my own WEB UI. Thanks for any helpfull info.

Guys plz help me.... I successfully connected the Global Cache into my Lan and was able to read a IR code using the iLearn. Also using iLearn, I tested the IR using the button SEND IR and it worked. Great until now... Back to the ISY Console, Networking and Network Resources, I add it as shown in the first post. TCP protocol, insert the iTach IP, and port 4998, copied all the string and inser \r,\n. I was something like "sendir,1:1,1........,21,4848,\r,\l" but when I clicked update, the string was different on the ACTUAL BOX. The \r just disappeared and the string was "sendir....,21,4848,\l". Is that ok? To test it, I created a Program named TVON and add an Action on THEN. The action was NETWORKING, RESOURCE, TVON. Save all, but when I click it to run, nothing happens. I don't know where to look to search the problem. Anyone could help me?

I`m with the same error.. but I did the changes and set a static IP and the DNS as 8.8.8.8 but the error still... TCP Client DNS error....
